But OW had no complaints filed against him in the past. I would imagine if he fit the "type" that you mention here, there would be several, particularly if he was a hot-headed, roided up drug addict as what you describe. We don't know that, and a safe assumption based upon past history of the officer, no complaints and at least one commendation that we know of, we would give him the benefit of the doubt and what is described in the original story of shooting an unarmed man begging for mercy - as it just wouldn't seem to fit with what little we know of OW. However, we have a video of just 10 minutes prior to the altercation of a young man using physical violence to rob a store, and the main eyewitness as his companion during that robbery as the one who began the narrative of "hands up don't shoot."
To me, an open-minded and non-biased individual would tend to side with the officer, unless additional evidence proved otherwise. I think ANYONE who is objectively looking at this case so far, should agree that the idea that OW literally shooting this man begging for mercy is a long-shot, at best and highly unlikely.
And yes - trust me - I read outside of here, but find that level-headed people tend to find their way here and find this to be a great place for lots of information backed up with links and insight by some amazingly intelligent posters.
