WOW That is great MB looks so much further apart did it surprise anyone else

what are the two buildings the two stars?
Don't know the initial source f this, but that is a helluva lot further away than 35 feet. That is hundreds of feet away.

If that is so, maybe another reason he felt he needed to defend himself.

Or maybe a reason why he could be confident he wouldn't have to.... Could work both ways.

Crucifying?

Words like that only incite those already worked up. They don't help restore calm or reason to the situation.

Just trying to put myself in the shoes of a parent who just lost a child. Even if what was being said was accurate, I'd probably still feel that strong of emotions. My personal take on it wouldn't be nearly so strong but I'm just some outsider looking in.

Here is an article on FPD saying first contact wasn't related to robbery, contradicting the theory that DW knew all along they were connected to the robbery.

As to the report...page 15, nearly last entry on that page at 18:54:26.

This is so strange.... Right from the get go, I had a strange feeling about that chief, he was stuttering over his words, looking at others for answers... He didn't seem confident at all in answering questions... How could they have still been looking for the suspect to the robbery at that point in time. Doesn't make sense at all that they couldn't put 2 and 2 together.

That thought crossed my mind as well. I recall a case of an officer chasing a suspect in a vehicle. The initial attempt to stop wasn't a felony so I completely get that it's a different situation in so many ways. But the subject started driving erratically so the cop simply took down the plate and backed off. Subject was arrested the next day without incident.

I also don't know Wilson knew for a fact, but wouldn't be surprised if the FPD knew who Brown was on sight, especially if he had prior run ins with the law. On a drive along, I was shocked at how the cops already knew everyone in the community. Would say "So and so looks tough but he's a good kid. So and so...they're dealing drugs." Have also seen instances in night courts where someone would pull up and the cops would say "So and so just rolled in." I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he knew MB or DJ on sight.

I would actually be shocked if that was the case. DJ made no indication that he knew the officer, that he or Mike had any kind of history with him etc. Also, Mike was in and out of the neighborhood attending different schools, so he wasn't there constantly. Finally, the media did not know the officer's name for some time. If ANY of the many, many people there watching after the shooting had that kind of familiarity with the officer I'd think we would have known his name much sooner.

There has been numerous eye witness statements saying he was shot in the back. Do we really have to keep re posting them? Not only that but, and I will explain this again.... The fact that the ME said he was shot in the front of his body does not rule out the fact that he could have been shot from behind. The ME was speaking in terms of the anatomical position... Which, when it comes to the arms, face BEHIND a person. .

Yes, I think you are trying to clear up a HUGE misconception that seems to have taken hold here. When Baden referred to the "front" it is the location on the body as mapped by standard autopsy and medical drawings- not the direction the bullet wound came from. Those are two distinctly different things. And in the front view, the palms are up, what we would normally refer to the underside of the arm facing up. If your arms are down, you would not see this underside from the front.
More importantly, the wound was a graze on the edge and it may be impossible to say where it came from, because arms twist and move separately from the body.

Anyone disputing this- where did Baden say the bullet wounds were all from a frontal assault? Nowhere. That was an incorrect assumption.

I've watched it 5 or more times. Yes, a clerk got in his way and he pushed him aside. That doesn't mean he was planning to assault anyone on the street.

'pushed him aside.'? That is putting it lightly. He grabbed the much smaller, older man by the throat. He shoved him into the food racks. Then he turned and came back, which is interesting in itself, and intimidated the poor little guy again. AFTER STEALING from the store.

You don't think he would have assaulted anyone else if they had something he wanted?

I admit I'm having a hard time figuring out why people are so stuck on this. Both the officer's side and DJ's side, who are the only two living people to have witnessed the whole encounter agree that the encounter began with the officer telling them to get out of the street. The chief's statement is totally in agreement with that. It's a 100% accurate statement that the first contact wasn't related to robbery. That's not why he initially stopped them. It may be that he heard the BOLO later, or that he had heard the BOLO earlier but didn't make the connection until he noticed the cigars, etc. Maybe he didn't even hear the BOLO, and his entire reason for identifying Brown as a threat was the struggle for the gun or the alleged facial injury.

So, clerk get in the way (action) = push him aside (reaction)?

Hard to believe it's accurate, IMO.

WOWZWERS!!!!!! Darryly Parks just now said to Nancy Grace, that he DOUBTS THE AUTHNENICITY OF THE AUDIO TAPE. :thud:

MG asking Parcells about the sequence of shots.

Is there anyway to tell which shots came first? He says no

Here comes Daryl Parks  "We know for sure there was one shot in the car. But we don't hear that on the tape."
Whoa. He's questioning the authenticity of this recording of the shots

Didnn't see that coming.

IMO this was his concern, and that behavior made MB a treat to everyone.

From reading MB tweets appears he had woman troubles around Aug 5th or 6th. He was trying hard to get music biggies to give his rhymes a listen via sound cloud as well.
