This picture of DJ giving his story is kinda funny. The guy to the left and the man in green look like someone just passed gas.
Sorry, but their faces are like WHAT STINKS???

All posts are MOO

They appear to be very upset IMHO.

Has it been established that OW got out of his vehicle or did he fire from in the vehicle. I know the first shot was fired in the vehicle but did he actually exit the vehicle once MB began to run.

IDK it kind of looks like a shell casing to me. From what I saw from the Jodi trial, when they were showing the shell casing. Also, where do you see the blood, can you point it out to me please? TIA.

The blood is in the CNN video- at exactly 1:57, it goes quick, so you have to pause it there. It is on the ledge thingey that is like a step at the bottom of the door. It looks like the door was open when it dripped there, and there would be some inside also.

In a previous thread, someone provided his name, he is a local activist/instigator if I am remembering the description of him correctly.

Many of the witnesses you see all over the news were on that same grassy area together in many photos, including MBs mom, Tiffany, Piaget, DJ and the man in the green.

The cruiser door being open during the altercation fits DW's reported account of being "pushed back into the car" and Daryl Parks saying to Nancy Grace, "I've been told," that DW was "partially in the car" when his gun first fired.

Thanks for putting the picture up. That is what I saw and thought it was possibly blood.

Strange- in this pic it looks like it is on the ground near the passenger side? But it looks like there is no step up to the cab (sorry- I forgot what it is called) either, which can't be right. IMHO.
I wish I could see a good map with the layout and the placement of everything. I'm not very good at visualizing this stuff from verbal descriptions.

Question: Can someone please tell me exactly where they get the picture of the blood on the car? I looked at that video at 1:57 but I didn't see anything, maybe I missed it. TIA.

Ok thanks. The thanks button isn't working right now. I'm gonna go back and look.

Thanks for that link. I often find it's good to read foreign press about US incidents. More 2 sided commentary. Sometimes I get the impression that people in the US are lumping all the protesters together, when in fact we can see from this article that some protesters were doing their best to stop the looters and protect local businesses.

Also, it seems like the musician (Pharaoh something?) had a very clear, unobstructed view of the incident. Is there any reason to dismiss his account as "not credible"?

I get disturbed by our press too, it seemed to me they were hoping for violence to erupt. In other outlets, I saw coverage of activists trying to register voters, and do other things to help the community. But you really had to look for that in alterntive sources. Sad that the networks, like so many people were just expecting or hoping for the worst to come out, so they could get some exciting footage.

Not really, we've heard "at the car" and "in the car" :dunno:

Some possibilities as to why OWs door ended up being closed in the pictures...maybe when he got out of the car he shut it with his body? Maybe falling into it if he was disorientated? Or sticking his hand out to right himself if he was a little woozy from the altercation? :dunno: thinking out loud :)

Thanks, I just didn't imagine that much blood. I guess that must be the "gash" on his hand- which may be a grazed bullet? Still odd the passenger door was open, but not the drivers. Hopefully there are more witnesses.

SUVs don't necessarily have the "step-up" or running board. It depends on the model, with some it's standard, with some it has to be added as an extra. If these SUVs don't come with them automatically, I'd think the dept wouldn't bother. Many times it's the mom or wife who wants them added, especially if they have small kids....*raises hand*

It's pretty cray cray IMO that he's right there beside "witnesses" while they give their accounts of what happened.

Everyone needs a coach to go over the game plan...IMO.

You have to remember that the press is really in the entertainment business. Viewers like to watch video of conflict and violence, they tend to switch channels when you show people calmly working together to solve a problem.

BBM Running board :)

Thank you Tawny! I'm not much of a truck person myself! Weird thing is in the pic in #155 post it looks like theri is no running board? Hard to see the edge of it, anyway as is sort of blends into the street.
