Why wouldn't the window be up? He drove away before he realized that MB was the liquor store thief.

Because every witness said the altercation was through the window? He originally spoke to them from being seated in the car as well. It would seem crazy to me, IMHO to dismiss all that.

LOL, you are right, I am confused:) It does seem weird that it isn't down. Really weird. Are we 100% sure we are looking at the right truck?

Can you give me the dates of the meetings, explain to me what plan of action came from the meetings, etc? I ask because Stewart didn't mention any results. QUOTE]

Sorry if this is not good enough- but your original statement was regarding how little action people are taking to try to improve things.
No offense, but asking for dates of meetings is a weird sort of tangent, IMHO.

Why is that a less effective punishment in your eyes? I actually think that was pretty clever of his Mom and a pretty bad burn! Given typical sibling rivalry and the love of boys for their gaming systems, I think it would be MORE hurtful to see his brother playing the game system HE wanted every day. I bet he learned his lesson about misusing his Mom's money!

jmcglarr - Agreed, Mom's response was better, imo, than saying 'Oh well, you can just keep the playstation for yourself' but...
why would Mom give other son the benefit of MB's misbehavior? Did she still provide $ to MB for the shoes anyway?

Yes, MB might be jealous, w bro having game that MB wanted, but...
is it poss -
1. MB would intimidate his bro into letting MB have the playstation, so it did not punish MB at all??
2. Mom's response would give rise to MB & bro conspiring in the future to wangle $ from Mom,
by asking to use $ or card for one thing and instead buying a toy of some kind?

In this same video at 00:41 What is the object 3 to 5 feet away from MB's head.?? This is what I thought was his CAP. Later, the cap is seen near the SUV. What's the deal? JMO

OMG good point! Well it would make a lot of sense that it is his cap. But could it also be the cigarillos? IDK. And also, at the 1:57 point, I notice there is blood on inside white part of the red cap....I'm sure you all have noticed that too.

One more observation - IMO the gold object is a shell casing. It looks a lot like a casing.

Also, what is that grey-ish object by the third cone? So you know how the cones are in a triangle, what is the grey object by the top cone of that triangle of cones? Sorry y'all, I'm not good at the stuff like circling the object in red.

Would a shell casing have a hole in the side? At least to me it looks like a hole, like a police whistle might have...?

Could be a crack in the road. I can't clean it up enough to tell.

All posts are MOO

It could be either. If it is blood, there should be a sort of trail, even if its a trail of blood spots to where MB died, or as alleged, ran further, turned and as alleged, charged. If it's a crack, maybe it can be seen in a google street map (depending upon how recent the map is). Is the address given where the SUV is? Or where MB's body is? Odd that it is between the yellow lines, though. That sort of rules out oil. Maybe patching repair goop? Just wondering. JMO

Haven't kept up with the thread for the last day or so. I take it the only new info to come out is that now the audio of the fires being shot may be genuine and a lawsuit has been filed by some of the protesters. Anything else? Beyond our sleuthing/speculation I mean.

On another note, frydaddy, I got through your transcription for Crenshaw and Mitchell. Thanks doesn't seem to be enough, but thanks regardless. Did you happen to do one for Johnson or has there just been too many from him?

Also, has anyone actually compiled a list of witnesses?

Mitchell
Crenshaw
Johnson
Black Canseco
Brady
Pharaoh
Wilson (hasn't spoken yet though)
Josie

Are any of these wrong or duplicates? Do we know any others?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-wlDI6hg18 Al Sharpton Show interviews DJ

After telling AS about walking away from Ofc. Wilson, who was still in the same spot where he initially spoke to MB/DJ [i.e. OW hadn't driven away; they just walked off!!!], OW backed up/around them, putting himself in front of them again.

DJ: "Mike's hands are filled with cigarillos." "We have cigarillos in our hands." "His [MB's] hands are not free. His hands are filled."

DJ then says OW "opens his door an inch or so" and the force of that door [open 1"?] hit MB and "ricocheted back" making OW livid. OW reached through the window and grabbed MB by the neck/shirt, at which time MB, hands still full of cigarillos and DJ's too I imagine, said or motioned to DJ to "Hold these." DJ: "I grabbed them outta his hands."

Does that make DJ an accomplice to the beatdown of OW?
BBM

The last bolded portion is what seems so odd to me.

Number one, if the door could only open ' one inch' before hitting MB, then why the heck would OW have even tried to open it?

Two, how does a door that only opened 'one inch' then 'ricochet' closed if it hits someone. I don't see that as physically possible. Unless of course someone SLAMMED it shut with force in opposite direction.

Three, if MB was standing so close to the car, that the door could only open up one inch, then why would OW even try and get out of the car? Wouldn't
he direct them to go sit on the sidewalk first, before stepping out right within an inch of the 2 of them?

And DJ's version saying that he grabbed the cigarillos out of his hands...really? A psycho cop has his hands around your friends neck and you are worried about handing off some stolen cigarillos? Why not drop them?

This part of the DJ fairy tale makes no sense to me. :moo:

I'm born and raised Arizonan, so my view on firearms is going to be incredibly different than those from other states. Arizona doesn't require a Az CCW anymore for a concealed weapon, and we were always able to "carry" if the firearm was in plain site. Arizona has one of the most lenient set of laws regarding firearms.

"Unarmed" but "aggressor"....... that definitely would be a case by case situation. Here it's probably considered "suicide by cop" and the aggressor has a weapon of some sort.
I just don't comprehend someone rushing LE unless they had a death wish.

I'm in a similar state, we have a very accepting culture here in regards to guns. I also don't comprehend a person of sound mind rushing toward LE that is firing at them.

2 shell casings end to end.? When shooting from a fixed position the casing will land pretty much in the same area.

  • #238
Wow. I would have thought they wouldn't want to kill a person even if they are a suspect or whatever. I'd think they would want to eliminate the threat by disabling them, at least if they're "unarmed". I can see that being the case if they are armed, for sure. Interesting.

I don't know if "want" would be the right word for it, they are committed to doing a job. Disabling is great if the suspect complies. That is why Down on the ground, 🤬🤬🤬 up, fingers splayed would be ideal. The suspect would no longer be a threat. A suspect "telling" you he is not a threat while not complying is still a threat until disabled. That's how I understand it anyway.

What kind of bracelet

Is it the same one-
on right arm in store's CCTV recording; on street by LE 's tire?

High possibility. I wonder why DJ never mentioned it?

For you eagle eyes here, was it a metal bracelet? Chain/link style? cuff style? Or plastic-rubbery kind, w logos or causes on them?
Wondering whether it might be engraving on it, or a logo or printing?
Does it match any soc media pix of DJ or any ppl known to be present?
Gold, silver, gold-filled? If picked up as evd, would someone claim it?

Anyone? Thanks in adv.

There's also a witness named James McKnight, but it was a short statement and I cannot find anything about him except his brief statement:

James McKnight, who also said he saw the shooting, said that Mr. Brown’s hands were up right after he turned around to face the officer.

“I saw him stumble toward the officer, but not rush at him,” Mr. McKnight said in a brief interview. “The officer was about six or seven feet away from him.”

From NY Times:
