I will be happy to accept the officers statement with evidence to back it up. It may seem that I am a Brown supporter but I am not. I am a truth supporter. I want the whole truth to come out and I want the evidence that supports it.
Yes I hold the officer to a higher standard but that is because he is the one in authority, trained to serve and protect.

If MB tried to take this officers gun and DW had shot him at the car in that moment, I would not have any concern and that would be that. But because MB was shot after running away, That bothers me a lot.

Why will you take proof that MB was running away, from random eyewitnesses, but not believe that Officer Wilson was assaulted by MB? And when we do offer you proof of injuries from Chief Jon Belmar, you try to minimize his injuries and say they must not be serious because he was released from the hospital?

If you are a Brown supporter, that's absolutely fine. I won't try to convince you otherwise.

Because it wasn't. They said there were not broken bones.

Who said there were no broken bones? I've only seen links that Officer Wilson was assaulted and received injuries.

Yes, in a later interview he was asked about that and said he didn't think that was relevant :-) imo

Spoken like a true defense attorney :wink: Maybe he has his eye on a law degree.

OK if it is a fact on THIS FORUM that anything Chief Jackson states to the press is confirmed FACT, then I will defer to Chief Jackson as the reliable source of fact for the purposes of THIS FORUM. I did NOT realize that Chief Jackson was privy to DW's medical report,which I presume would be factual. Chief Jackson was not an eyewitness to this event, however, so he must be stating what Officer Wilson related to him, as incontrovertible FACT. For the purposes of THIS FORUM I will refrain from posting any doubt about Chief Jackson's FACTS. Thanks for informing me! JMO

From what I understand, The chief went to the crime scene very soon afterwards, and he personally took OW to the ER. So in this particular instance, the chief knew what was happening in terms of the injuries to the officer. jmo :cow:

Alternative schools are a godsend for teachers who've had to deal with disruptive, incorrigible students and finally get to teach in peace when they're gone. Alternatives schools are also a blessing for students incapable of following the rules in a normal school situation, offering a second chance for any student willing to accept it. That MB changed high schools 4 times is very relevant to me when assessing his degree of impulse control and emotional stability imo.

Wait, sorry, weren't you the one initially putting down on alternative schools, saying that only delinquents went to them and implying they didn't get any actual work done (which I disproved with the story about my nephew). And now you are defending them? Confused. Besides, MB was going to his neighborhood, normal curriculum high school (Normandy) not an alternative school, anyway. And we don't actually know why he changed schools - that's all speculation.

No one from the Brown family et al can let those incorrect statements just go by the wayside as "mistakes", because they are absolutely critical to the manufactured outrage that was incited right from the start, IMO. Without MB being shot "in the back while surrendering", there is nothing real or truthful to Crump/ Parks/ Sharpton/ Jackson and their story themes.

I find this to true and.......................very , very sad.

A lot of anger being directed towards this #Ferguson officer. @AntonioFrench has been trying to step in.

=======================================================================================

The officer in question, is a black Ferguson officer. And the protestors are directing their anger at him. And that is what I have seen happen here a lot too. Minority communities say they want MORE minority officers, and yet they disrespect and verbally abuse them when it happens, imo.

Fight or flight response perhaps? My natural response would most certainly be to flee from an officer whom I had just had an altercation with, in which a shot was fired. Not that I'd likely get into such a situation, but if I did I wouldn't be sticking around and surrendering, I would be scared for my life!

Then if you flee from an officer instead of surrendering, IMO you are asking for trouble. The officer doesn't know what you will do next once you flee, for all he/she knows is you could take a hostage? Run into someone's home? Hard to say, but if MB didn't want to get shot, he should have surrendered right then and there. He knew OW had a gun and just might use it, right? Had MB not ran and gave himself up right then and there at the police vehicle, he may still be alive.. IMO

Here we go again. :facepalm: And now since there is this huge lawsuit, the cops are supposed to sit on their hands tonight, if the peaceful protestors start throwing molotovs and looting?

Or bottles of pee

Sounds like those 'activists' didn't do a very good job of informing them of their right to vote.

Well that's comforting. And a good reason not to move back to the USA.

If people don't like the way our laws work, then don't move here. Who wants criminals to be able to get away with their crime? We have laws and people want to break them and get away with it, while others want peace...

The canvassers have reached what they say is McCulloch's home. No one answered the door. They're now leaving the flyers at his door.

Canvassers are writing notes to McCulloch on the back of the flyers.

I hope for his sake MB finished at the PAL-alternative school. Anything would be better than the descriptions of Normandy HS. His father said MB graduated via a program that allowed him to "set his own pace". Maybe Normandy offers such a program apart from the regular classes. The PAL-alternative school seems to tailor a curriculum to fit a particular student. I don't know where MB ended up, what kind of diploma he received [college/vocational/general], but I think it's safe to say MB was not well-prepared for post-high school studies. In the long and MB friendly NYT piece last Sunday, MB reportedly thought about working at the same market his friend Brian worked at. He thought about working at the Family Dollar his cousin managed. He took up rapping and thought of doing that as a career. He had a lot of thoughts that seem to have never translated into action, at least according to those close to him who talked to the NYT. His unsubstantiated decision to become a heat/air technician didn't seem to be a thought he mentioned to any friend quoted.

My son said something interesting last night. [He works for Homeland security, wears gun and vest doing security on Naval Bases. They are usually looking for terrorist but also rogue soldiers. ]

He said that if someone blindsided him in his patrol vehicle, punched him and struggled over the gun, then ran off, he would assume the perp was either 'out of his mind' and/or wanted for a serious crime. So in either case he would be considered 'dangerous' to the community and he would probably shoot to prevent him from getting away as he would be dangerous to others as well. He might hijack a car or hold hostages if he wanted to get away badly enough.

It's a slap in the face of every protestor that marched for civil rights. They may as well spit on the real activists, the people, black people & whites alike that fought so hard to ensure those rights for all people.

<modsnip>

They couldn't be so bothered...to even vote.

It's appalling!!!!

IMO

or perhaps they did and those citizens simply didn't give two :censored: s until they decided that an alleged racist corrupt police force is the source of all their problems. This month.
