Just another whopper.
We can add that to the list of lies that sonjay started a few posts above.
Just another whopper.
I agree Katy. Probable cause must exist - per the Fourth Amendment.
I posted the info regarding arrests prior to an indictment because there have been several pages of posts here insisting that it never happens, when, in fact, it does happen.

What 'words' are saying this represents?
Another lovely citizen. :slap:
She should be arrested as a terrorist threat.

So now, a failure to appear has no consequence? Why would anyone appear for a court date then?
So does this mean that the protestors that are angry about the court system are going to stop the civil unrest? Oh wait a a minute...tyhey are closing down the freeway tomorrow...because he was in sty street for 4 hours...because the livery company didnt have bullet proof vests and couldn't pick him up...the parents knew that...but now the protests are highlighting the 4 hours, as if it was the FPDs fault...
You know what kills me the most??? IF OW is indicted and then an arrest is made and it goes to trial....un unwarranted arrest may actually work AGAINST a conviction if it can be shown that OW was denied his rights of due process in any way. So it is in the family's best interest to have an arrest made if and when an indictment comes down. But I have a feeling they know that isn't going to happen. They are lining their ducks up in a row to put together a shortlist of grievances for after the fact. Hey...a lot of this is working...Feds investigating the entire FPD, city council meeting to eliminate "unfair" fines and fees, a dual investigation of the shooting...why stop now???
They are not all rioting. They are not all wanting OW dead. They are not all horrible. I don't really like the term they. I don't like grouping people together as one unit. There are good people and bad people there. There are people who want justice and people who want revenge, however there is no they. To lump everyone together is obtuse IMO
President Obama is giving an address tonight on terrorism. Perhaps he will address the terrorist threats being made on American soil.
I think he knows, just like their faux outrage over Michael lying there. It's being used to incite others and in turn use those angry masses to apply pressure. I think they're very aware of the facts of the case and that they do not warrant an indictment and if it's ruled justified, it scuttles any wrongful death suit. That's why they tiptoe around facts like the hand gash as we discussed earlier.
This is a very important thing to remember when it comes to the race hustlers.
All they need is an arrest for a civil suit.
It would be great if people would do the same for Officer Darren Wilson and the FPD.
I will say I'd never move to StL now. I think this is doing either a grave disservice to the city or it's serving as a public service safety notice to others to treat it as Detroit. If it's economically disadvantaged now, this will make it worse, in my opinion. Can't imagine any corporation deciding to relocate facilities to there. Lawlessness and volatile highway blockings and riots are not recruiting benefits. They cost money and hurt morale and productivity.
Justice isn't found on a highway threatening drivers.

The family of Michael Brown, Jr. wishes to express that they oppose and are not in any way affiliated with plans for non-peaceful protest.
