I did y'all one better. Started out depressed and hopeless and didn't even bother to get on the ride tonight. Thanks to those who still have the patience to continue following this mess. I can rest assured that if anything of substance happens I will read about it here. And by letting those with stronger stomachs do the following and watching from here on out I save myself a world of head and heart ache

Update: The last speaker made no sense, but apparently he is a convicted felon, was shot twice by police and had a $50K bond. That's all I could understand.

Did you hear that sound? That was the sound of every law abiding resident calling their real estate agent. If they haven't left by now they will now. If I saw this happening to my community I'd sell my house for a loss. Or literally abandon it.

-- we've been given lip service for a very very long term…our schools leave us no choices for a good education…where else can you go….in a european dominated area u will finds hundreds of whites,no black students…The mayor should be removed from office…and the police chief too. We need representation

-no black owned businesses BRING THEM BACK--we are told of seeing everyone but blacks owning businesses in OUR city

- STOP the police invasion of our city-not a day goes by that I don't see a black person sitting on the curb, detained by police

-we need to stop the racial profiling

-we need some immediate diversity training

-we were treated like 3rd class citizens---you are now on notice- we will not stand for it anymore

- i don't have any questions, just a list of demands---1st, all arrests dropped
II was arrested in the protests, and SPENT MORE TIME IN JAIL THAN DW---my next demand is that you arrest this man now

- one man is angry that the city council already introduced the bill for civilian review board w/out one word from the community---he is yelling at them saying they were not consulted and are being ignored as usual…[crowd cheering…]

-Demillitairize the police! we are not the enemy

John Chasnoff to the #Ferguson City Council: "You're going to have to step aside gracefully if this community is going to heal."

If we compiled all the demands, I bet it's close to every official, duly elected or not, lose their job that's not within their movement. The irony about that "white racism" comment before, was that there are pictures of protesters yelling at and getting in the faces of black officers as well. And a man told Chief Johnson he wished Johnson was a firefighter so he could be his friend. IMO, some want no boundaries, laws, or authorities over them period. It's easier to blame others for your choices and circumstances than man up.

I caught a bit about him not wanting a minimum wage job @ McDonald's or Burger King. Other than that, I couldn't make out anything else he was saying because of the echo in the hall.
