Quick question to more experienced people. I saw on an earlier thread something abt an ignore button. I don't see one anywhere. Not sure I have one?

Now that he's in custody, I think the FBI will be all over his "business" and his involvement with this case with a magnifying glass.

You mean the mosque?

Give it some time, I'm sure FBI is on it. It would be interesting to know what those "witnesses" told the FBI. Usually, witnesses are as well asked 'with whom they discussed this incident' etc. Anthony Shahid could be seen close to several "witnesses", including DJ. If some of them admitted that Shahid had talked to them, told them what to say, then he is in big trouble. Especially DJ. Who is now in federal custody. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out.

Just my thoughts and my opinion.

Exactly. I think DJ sang like a canary when he realized just how deeply this goes.

Contrary to popular belief, I would be most interested in learning if there is anything to it. If he in fact has tampered with witnesses, yes, I would absolutely want to see him prosecuted for it. I'm just not going say he's done it until something comes out saying he has.

And DJ was talking to Shahid, and his lawyer (one of them) is a longtime Shahid ally, Bosley.

Yes, I mentioned black clergy, as I wonder if they've been replaced in that community by muslim activists.

My bad. I know there were some out at the protests on the streets but I didn't see any today.

Ya don't think he's already out?

Go to 'settings' at the top of the screen where your log in/log out is - go to edit ignore :)

But it doesn't mean I can't present it to him/her. In fact, isn't that essentially what lobbyists are? I would suggest lobbyists have been quite successful in presenting items their "clients" would like to see passed through legislation that ultimately are. Now, I will agree that the way it has been presented to date in Ferguson is not an effective way to obtain that change.

I have never seen a case where a lobbyist forced the government to change a prosecutor or a police department. Could you be more specific and actually cite where that has ever happened? Thanks.

It's also a well-known fact that the elderly have the highest voter participation rate of all age groups. Can you provide a link to any data on how many elderly people want to vote but are unable to because they lack a photo ID?

My Father-in-law is 86 has not failed to vote in any election in our state/county since he was 21 and PROUD OF IT!,,And points out the fact if you don't vote you have no right to B*tch

Never said that. Not going to look it up. My comment was only a comment about how our government is set up in a very general sense. Just because you tell your politician that a certain change is important, doesn't mean you will get it, as you said. My only point was that it's not unheard of to present those demands, not that you get them.

Good point. When you start looking at a lot of the organizations involved, they too are Muslim. Of course, Shahid seems prejudiced against "foreign hypocrite" Muslims according to his twitter, so ...?

The civil rights heroes of yore had dignity and moral authority. Anthony Shahid has a KKK costume, stuffed doggies hanging around his neck, and a police hat borrowed from The Village People.

I know he likes New Black Panther Party. Here is a video where they took over a news conference set up for the Chief of Police.
It starts around 4:02 mark

TY, that was new to me. So Shahid took over Chief Jackson's presser, passions were soaring, Obama weighed in, and people wonder why Chief Jackson released the store video the next day? I hate to think what might have happened without that vital dose of reality.

Plenty of evidence. It's around. I don't think you'd be interested in it.

Yes, please share the evidence of his coaching witnesses with us.

Still surprised a hate group was able to take over that press conference!
