That is beyond pathetic. I would walk off the job as an officer and allow whatever faction (NBP, gangs, druglords) to rule the streets. But what a tremendous amount of "crying" and blaming we would hear then, right?

That crowd is having a recreational evening making a mockery of civility, decency, and anything we value as a graceful society.

You "protestors" proud yet?

But, but they're peaceful, y'all. It's just a few bad apples that came from different states and cities.

They came all the way from different states and cities to be heard at the council meeting last night.

The people of Ferguson are peaceful protestors.

As in extortion? I wasn't aware any citizen can present "demands" to government officials and actually expect it to be successful. Has that ever worked successfully?

Isn't that how our government is set up to an extent? I would like to think that the people I elect are are trying to effectuate the changes I think are important. I would hope the same holds true for each of us. Aren't we supposed to take our concerns to politicians?

reedus, if this is a serious post, then I can understand why I'm having such trouble following this line of thinking. Extortion will never, IMO, improve any situation. MyBelle's post was all about extortion. This reply suggests our government was established based on extortion? Please ~ try to address the actual topic rather than derailing with red herrings. moo etc!

Don't think we are allowed to post the links here, but there are articles that show pix of him with all of the witnesses, early on right after the shooting. And there is a video where u hear him interjecting thoughts while Piaget is in her earliest interview.

I think that was rhetorical

And all those protesters will tell you they were being peaceful all while cheering on the bottle throwers. That makes the lot of them UNpeaceful protesters IMO

Guess they won't be watching the press conf on ISIS? Do they know who ISIS is?

Nope, to your first questions because (according to hundreds on twitter last night) they are very mad and annoyed at Obama because he spoke about Ray Rice the day TMZ released the video but it took him 4 days to talk about MB.

And no, to your second question, because, well ................:dunno:

On Ferguson Scanner updates on FB

2 hours ago:
County intake is no longer accepting prisoners due to the large amount of people who were arrested at the protest

City hall has been evacuated

3 hours ago:
Fight in the Walgreens parking lot on chambers, one person pulled a revolver on a group of people

***************
I can't find any news about all of this, but they may be holding it for the evening news locally.

I think they absolutely meant the threat to burn down city hall if their demands weren't met. Wonder what that 38 page email contains? Glad LE has it, and is probably watching those mentioned in it.

With tomorrow being being 9/11, Ferguson protestors really need to sit it out imo.

The last time I heard someone call someone a baby it was MB.

That was part of the initial construct.

Benjamin Crump often meets his clients for the first time when they’re mourning the death of their young black son. And among the first things he tells them is what they should keep in mind at press conferences and in interviews with the media:
“All I want you to do is talk about your baby. Talk about how good he was and what your baby meant to you. I’ll handle the rest.”

The people of Ferguson are peaceful protestors.

Fact, some did come from out of town. During the initial protesting in one picture I recognized one man from the Revolutionary Communist Party from California.
