How about a YouTube video link?

I found the ex marine gunners video (finally able to get it to work) extremely helpful in understand why Wilson's shots were to his left and their locations on Browns body.

YouTube is okay. I think we all understand that this would be the ex marine's opinion based on his experience.

Well.... passive-aggressive right up until the moment that he turns outright aggressive.

The word "simmering" comes to mind.
(Still compiling long post to explain.)

They could have put an officer or two inside the store (outside may have attracted too much attention).

It would also have been WISE to protect the store so other witnesses would not be afraid to come forward (but maybe that was the point? a subtle form of witness intimidation?).

But if you place one or two officers alone in that store all night, you would be placing them in a dangerous situation. What happens when an angry mob comes to burn down the minimart? Do the cops have to start shooting? Do they give up and run, calling in back up? Or do they get trapped inside?

I think that was too volatile a situation to put a few cops inside. And I think they were sticking together and guarding BIG targets like the police station, etc.

Thanks for that. I was wondering because another poster earlier had said the mayor doesn't live in Ferguson.

Someone posted that after hearing one of the speakers. But I dont know if it is true or not. Hard to believe he wouldnt have to live in his town.

"The Urban League of Metro St. Louis teamed up with St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley to create the fair in record time."

Given the televised council meeting, the college needs to offer "If you want a job, you need to be able to be understood" classes imo. I know many professional blacks can code-switch to suit the situation, but I doubt most I heard speak have that ability. And the St. Louis Urban League prez was arrested at Wed.'s highway protest, but getting arrested might not be a job enhancer to most companies seeking employees.

There is no such thing as an "ex-Marine". They are Marines for life.

They are fanatical about it too.

In depth on the actual shot pattern by
Ex-Marine Gunner: Ferguson Shot Pattern Vindicates Officer Wilson

Over at "the new American" website.

Great find. We've been saying this all along that the wound pattern indicates all shots were from the front! We might not have had the same perspective on it, but we drew the same conclusion either way.

Add in the fact that most of us have little to no knowledge of handguns (I don't anyway) and it's even more remarkable that we came to this conclusion. It makes me really anticipate what the actual forensics will show.

I will admit however, that I had to  when he started taking about how "the arms move!"

I wounder what Fraudessor is up to these days?

Let's face it if you have to have officers in your establishment to protect you from your customers in this case you may as well stay home. I doubt if this man's regular customers were a threat to him. jmo

The marine was interesting, but the whole time he was speaking, I was distracted by thoughts of why he choose the stained glass windows backdrop.

Agree with what you say.

As for the ones I suspect you claim are crafting the narrative, those are not the ones I would want on such a board. i.e. someone like Shahid or even Vickers.

Yet these are the very ones angling for a paid gig with subpoena powers. jmo

[h=1]Brown family attorney blasts St. Louis paper for ‘gossip and racist speculation’[/h]
Attorney Benjamin Crump is upset about the newspaper’s pursuit of juvenile records on Brown, accusing its reporters of failing to apply the same zeal to obtaining background information on the police officer who killed Brown, Darren Wilson.

Why has Crump been so quiet and why is he talking again, now?
