Yeah, I think he always wears a noose of some sort. But he has different things hanging on or with it.

Tonight though, he had something else that looked like a dead little crocodile or big lizard, with the tail going up and around his neck and dead feet at the bottom. It was very gross, from what I could make out.

Keeping it classy

I can't answer that because I like it here. :silenced:

 I bet we both had the same idea!

I actually began to post, but discarded what I said. Don't want to make LambChop's job any more complicated than it is.

I'm so ornery if I had been a member on that council, I would have been cleaning my nails and picking my nose. When they started their chanting, I would have been moving my head or tapping my hands to the rhythm of the chant.:giggle:

People who are so weak that they can't control their anger are so funny to me. Like I'm watching an adult size toddler pitching a fit because they don't want to eat their green beans. :tantrum:
Toddlers tantrums-totally. I keep waiting for them to hold their breath until they turn blue. For some reason I keep being reminded of when opie Taylor learned obnoxious behavior from his new friend.

Protestor just told me that they’ll stop protesting once Wilson is indicted. #Ferguson
*******************************************************************

Yep, I'm sure they'll get right on that for you.

Anything else we can do for you while we're at it?

And even that is not true. Because if he was indicted, then they would protest until he was charged with capital murder, not manslaughter. And then they would protest until he was found GUILTY. It is neverending.

BBM

I've been thinking the same thing for the past several weeks.

After watching the live feed of the previous council meeting, where several people claimed how "afraid" they are of the police, and after juxtaposing their comments with the actions from many of the so-called "protesters" - I haven't seen anyone who is "afraid" of the police.

What I've seen (via the various live feeds of the so-called protests and city council meetings) are immature, willfully ignorant people who have no respect for the law, no respect for those who have sworn to enforce the law, and no respect for anyone who dares to disagree with their immature, willfully ignorant opinions and actions.

In particular: at the recent attempt to shut down the highway, I didn't see anyone afraid of the police. What I saw was a bunch of defiant, ill-informed ignoramuses whose actions wasted untold thousands of tax-payer dollars.

Why is it considered "willfully ignorant" to have a different opinion on the death of MB and express it?

:sigh: tonight I was so discourage I just could not care enough to follow. Maybe tomorrow I will care again but this case has entered the absurb area for me and it is hard to take any of it seriously. For mental health reasons I skipped tonight's shenanigans.

Will try to catch up on what I missed tomorrow. Thanks to those who posted what was happening in case I want to.

Apparently he went to the Prince Mongo School of Fashion Statements:

[Mongo always has a skull or a rubber chicken or something gross and dead-looking around his neck]. Beginning to wonder if he is one of Mongo's fellow "Zambodians" sent here to destroy civilization as we know it.

I think this is allowed-- apologies if not. (Maybe these have been posted already, IDK. Catching up.)

Video loops from the twitter of Antonio French from the city council meeting this evening. Looks like quite a productive meeting, with lots of "engagement" from the local citizens! Government in ACTION, right? Lovely evening, eh?

Bob McCulloch, the St. Louis prosecutor investigating the shooting death of Michael Brown, promises to release transcripts and audio of grand jury proceedings on two conditions: (1) the grand jury elects not to indict Darren Wilson, the white police officer who shot and killed the unarmed teenager in Ferguson, Missouri last month, and (2) McCulloch gets judicial permission to do so, the prosecutor’s spokesman confirmed to msnbc late Tuesday.

Well, that's good news. I think a lot of us would like to know what goes down in that grand jury room. I don't like the secrecy, myself. But why would he only release it if Darren Wilson is not indicted, I wonder?

Then they'd be mad he could file appeals, that it'd take years etc. I honestly believe if these rioters came across him, they'd finish the beating and struggle Michael started.

:sheesh:

Why isn't he run off? He poisons their well, making it harder to garner support from anyone not already completely on board.

Of course, so do the riots and other obnoxious behavior.

I don't know. I just *don't understand any of it.

B/c if they indict him it will head to trial. I don't think DAs make a habit of releasing all the info like that.

If I understand correctly, if there is no true bill people can seek to get records released, but it's not normal to release everything like he intends to. Clearly a means to be transparent in this cae.

Probably because if OW is indicted, he is not worried about riots burning down the town. If there is no true bill, he wants to be able to do a 'show and tell' to explain why. jmo

Because if Darren Wilson is indicted, the public will have to wait until trial to hear/see all the evidence.

If he's not indicted, McCulloch's promise to release all the evidence is a good thing - because typically, when charges are not filed, the public doesn't get to hear/see the evidence.

Grand Juries are always private - it's not a new thing, nor is it peculiar to this case.
