I'm not aware of any MSM links, which is all we're allowed to post, right? It's just not something the MSM discusses, as it's not considered "news." Lots of blogs have confirmed the Wikipedia statement that the USA is the only country in the world that uses Grand Juries in its criminal justice system. You can certainly look it up yourself rather easily.

Well, that's good news. I think a lot of us would like to know what goes down in that grand jury room. I don't like the secrecy, myself. But why would he only release it if Darren Wilson is not indicted, I wonder?

About the secrecy---there are some witnesses who saw MB shove OW back into his vehicle and punch him in the face. They are probably locals. Do you think they should have to testify in support of the officer in public?

When so-called "protesters" complain about not having access to City Council meetings (even though nothing was barring them from attending meetings in the past) I call that willful ignorance. When so-called "protesters" wear tee shirts to council meetings that read "Let My People Vote" - even though no one has been preventing them from voting - I call that willful ignorance.

When so-called "protesters" make demands that seek to circumvent due process and 4th amendment rights - I call that willful ignorance, because if they would take the time to educate themselves, they'd know better.

When someone complains that their locally elected officials don't represent them, but fails to register to vote and to participate in the electoral process - I call that willful ignorance (if not downright laziness).

It has nothing to do with anyone's opinion on the death of MB, nor their rights to express their opinions.

Everyone in this country has the means to seek out information - especially in this technological age. Even the poor can access information via the internet at their local library (if they can't afford a computer and internet subscription). We are not ruled by an oppressive 3rd-world dictatorship that prohibits access to information and knowledge.

Blaming everyone else for problems that are within one's power to solve by claiming that "I didn't know", but refusing to inform themselves & to participate in a solution - I call that willful ignorance.

I also call it willful abdication of personal responsibility.

The mocking is NOT necessary! You see, this is what I'm talking about. This sort of behaviour.

I apologize, sometimes I am just taken aback with anecdotal stories that in no way relate to this case. I also sometimes take offense to the notion that I am unaware that some small town grocery stores run tabs. Lastly, I should know better than to point humor at others. Or....behavioral modification via personal incentives. Pandering to the "what's in it for me" mentality. IMO. Lol!

Something like "cash rewards" for not rioting. (Back to the reward system discussed earlier for wiping own butt and tying own shoes.)

Well I can't, because we have to link only MSM and this isn't exactly "news" or a recent or current event. Just judicial policy that has happened over time. It's a fact, though.

And yes, it is absolutely fair game to mock the absurd behavior of this mob, IMO. Anthony Shahid accessory nooses for everyone! Make em' into key fobs. Have the kiddies make 'em for a fundraiser! String up those fluffy big eye beanie babies in nooses to wear as protest accessory infinity scarves-- that has to symbolize something evil to protest against!

Sheesh. I wonder if a single one of the rioters, looters, and "mob" attendees has ever stopped to consider how fabulously lucky and fortunate they are to live in America? Because in most of the rest of the world, their behavior would, at the least, land them in a grim, unsanitary hellhole of a prison for decades, while they starved to a skeletal state. And at most, would leave them quickly dead on the pavement, with no benefit of rights or due process. There's a civics lesson for the kiddies of Ferguson, lol! IMO.

I was thinking the same thing. I love our country and like the laws. Sometimes it's not perfect but it's the best there is. I'm betting a few years in a 3rd world country would open some eyes.
