Not sure how many ppl think they were blocking the roadway, but per cnn, Johnson said they were both walking in the street (not across it).
And that, imo, would normally translate into blocking the roadway, if vehicles are impeded.
Brown's Contact w LEO - Does Sidekick's Version Make Sense? Are Stmts Believable?
Said, they were walking in the middle of the street (not crossing it).
LEO told them either to get on the sidewalk or out of the street (w F-word, supposedly, but I'm not disputing that)
They did not comply.
One of them told LEO
'not but a minute away from our destination, and we would shortly be out of the street."
Do you believe polite wording of that response is accurate (I'm not disputing it)?
Further, in the
time it took to say that, they could have walked from middle of street to sidewalk.
What was their point in staying in the street - to show LEO or drivers how tough they are?
LEO drove away, stopped, backed up, almost hitting them.
Shows they were
still ignoring LEO's order/request/whatever to get out of the street.
Said, not sure why LE turned around.
Well, sidekick just said they were
still in street, had
still not followed order/request.
Said, LEO asked - w
hat did you say?
Sounds like their earlier, politely worded response was
followed by other words, leading LEO to backup.
But sidekick is mystified.
Said
"We were so close, almost inches away,..."
Shows they were
still in the street (not smart enough to get out of way of traffic? I'm agreeing LEO s/not have gotten so close))
Said when LEO
tried to open his door aggressively, the door ricocheted both off me and Big Mike's body.
Were they both hit by door of 4-door cruiser?
Were they standing hip to hip, at precise angle for door to contact them?
Not saying his actions need to make sense to me. Not saying he is deliberately lying. IDK.

"How did it start? Brown and Dorian Johnson, 22, were walking in the middle of the street, en route to either Brown's grandmother's house (according to Brown's mother and grandmother) or to Johnson's house (according to Johnson), when a Ferguson police officer confronted them.
The officer told the young men either "Get the f*** on the sidewalk" or "Get the f*** out of the street," according to Johnson's accounts to CNN and other news outlets.
The young men replied that they were "not but a minute away from our destination, and we would shortly be out of the street," Johnson told CNN.
The officer drove away but stopped and backed up, almost hitting the pair, Johnson said. He said he wasn't sure what prompted the officer to return. Johnson told MSNBC the officer said something to the effect of "What'd you say?"
"We were so close, almost inches away, that when he tried to open his door aggressively, the door ricocheted both off me and Big Mike's body and closed back on the officer," Johnson said."
