Never a good idea to believe self-serving statements from witnesses. America has far too many people incarcerated based on nothing more than witness statements. That, too, is a project so many are dedicating their time to resolve.

So apparently the police are in a tough spot at Fergus*n because they are accused of too much of a strong presence. So, the police back off and try a diplomatic tactic. And yet, the looting continues and people want to know why arent the police doing anything to stop it? News flash: you can't have it both ways, people of Fergus*n!!!!

For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction, right? What do viewers who are watching the protestors think (some protestors seem to be respectful but many seem like -opportunists)? I'll be perfectly honest and say that there may be a quiet storm brewing in the hearts of other races/cultures who are growing very tired of this great divide; the results of this are not readily apparent at this time.

Personally, I fight anger, hatred, and dislike from festering in my heart. But I also don't deny what I see and feel happening in our society currently as a whole. I'm trying my best to keep peace in my life and basic respect and human kindness for all people at the forefront. Those concepts I just do and take for granted. But I'm getting tired of some of the carp I keep getting shoved at me. Real tired.

So, if this theft occurred on June 6, there was no BOLO the day the officer encountered Mike Brown..

It still doesn't equal a death sentence for stealing some cigars...SMH

The cigar stealing incident has nothing to do with the shooting incident except it does show the character of the deceased. He stole, he pushed the store personnel around and was intimidating. That seems clear on the June video.

Now, what ***could*** get you a "death sentence" or shot is if you try that same tactic on a police officer like you did on the store personnel. If you try to grab an officer's gun (and you outweigh or outmuscle him, especially) or try to assault him, LE everywhere in the country regardless of any race issues will shoot.

Doesn't matter that a young man is killed in cold blood? As he's surrendering?

I don't trust that there isn't a cover up going on. There was no need to execute someone who is unarmed and in surrender..

We don't know what happened until we see the video and get numerous witness statements.
We know the officer went to the emergency room.
We've seen the character of the deceased in a previous theft.
But we can not assume what happened.
We do not know if the deceased attempted to surrender or attempted to assault.

Don't assume, please.

I can't even watch. Sickening. Wonder if they'll send in neighboring police forces, tomorrow? National Guard? How heavy of a police presence does it take for people to realize they can't break into places and steal because they're mad?

I didn't stay up watching all night, so I'm trying to catch up this morning. Do I understand correctly that some business were looted and LE did nothing? I read somewhere that citizens were trying to protect the liquor store.
Where were the police, you know, the ones called in?

If my assumptions are incorrect, please correct me. There is enough trouble already without my possibly incorrect take on this mess. Txs.
