Erby prominently displays an endorsement from Lacy Clay on her website. Looks like shes currently running for reelection. We discussed him before. If that's who she wants to associate with, it says a lot about her, IMO. I think a lot of these politicians don't want their names added to the target list by the rioters too. http://www.hazelerby.com/

Clay made headlines in early 2007 when, as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus (co-founded by his father), he objected to the possible inclusion of U.S. Representative Steve Cohen of Tennessee, a Caucasian who represents the majority-African American district in Memphis and had made a campaign promise to attempt to become the first white member of the CBC. Although it is not part of the CBC's bylaws that members must be black, all members so far have been black.[5] Clay told Cohen "that he could not collaborate with the Congressional Black Caucus for the benefit of his black constituents 'until your skin turns black.'"

LOL Lacy Clay - what a true St. Louisan

Hazel was reelected as the Dem County Council Member for District 1 in early Aug but faces an election for the seat in Nov but no republican has filed for her district (note the craziness of StL politics) -- IMHO there are way too many elected officials in the small area & we are paying for their salaries!!!

Such blatant ignorance is beyond sad. As discussed up thread People need to get an education.

For example, time and time again WS members have posted OW's right and legality in shooting a stealing, LE ignoring, cop attacking MB..

Can you vote if you have an outstanding warrant????

TM's car registration offense was in early May, but on Aug. 9 she drove her car to Canfield Green to pick up Piaget. She'd either registered her car in the 3 months interim and dealt with the warrant, or she was driving illegally again. There's definitely an "and now the rest of the story" behind her mug shot expression.

Yes, unless you have a felony conviction, you can vote.
But it has been shown in studies that any unresolved legal issues will seriously suppress registration- people do not want a paper trail to their home if they can help it.

Can you vote if you have an outstanding warrant????

of course, it's not a conviction of a felony

depending on where you're voting the pollster may call LE on ya but here in StL it's all paper & no way would those in the polling places know if you had a warrant

Tefoe lying on AM radio

maybe credibility has something to do with her not being called by the GJ as of yet . . . if your eye witness account is debunked based on ballistics or evidence, then there's no reason to continue to listen to your lies/views

How much you wanna bet she testifies before the GJ, a failure to register vehicle charge or not.

I don't bet on people's lives but she very well may testify since she was on CNN lying like a rug -- some people don't want to know or hear the truth; they only have their version of the truth in their minds

this Tefoe interview with Mark Reardon is telling of the lack of true information these domestic terrorists are banking on . . .

<mod snip> I'm going to assume you believe McCulloch is ignorant too for even taking it to a GJ since we've already determined OW was within his rights to shoot MB and the legality of that shooting.

I think it shows integrity and strength that Officer Wilson chose to give testimony before the grand jury and for 4 hours.

Okay I am catching up. FOUR HOURS? Sheeshers. The whole thing happened in less than a minute. Four hours is a long time.

St. Louis better get ready for some civil disturbance because I don't see the GJ returning an indictment.

Steve Stenger's bragging on himself for supporting Bob McCulloch is self-serving imo, as both the City EO and the DA are elected county-wide and voters have reelected McCulloch at every opportunity since 1991. Stenger may see a real possiblity of losing to his Republican opponent without the usually reliable black votes.
