What in the world is around his neck? I see something that looks like a jump rope, and a white hankie....

Do these people truly not realize how ignorant they appear, hooting and hollering? I understand that they're angry and upset. But screaming like banshees only make you look stupid. More people are going to listen to, and respect, someone who can intelligently express their views in a calm manner. Shouting just turns me off.

Is the stadium considered public property? I don't think so because the Rams lease the property.

Also the parking lots surrounding the stadium appear to be private. How do you get to the stadium if you can't get onto the property???

Under the terms of the lease that the Rams signed, the Edward Jones Dome is required to be ranked in the top tier of NFL stadiums through the 2015 season.

Officials note that the Rams do not own the parking at the Edward Jones Dome. Further revenue from tailgating flows to private parking areas around the Dome.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Jones_Dome

Good question about the dome. It's owned by the St. Louis Regional Sports Authority and is run and part of the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Bureau. St. Louis City I believe appoints the commissioners to run it. So I do believe it is a public facility as in government or quasi-government owned. The parking lots (most of them are garages which are worse) are privately owned, but they make a ton off of people parking for games, so finding a place to park isn't difficult, it's just not cheap and it's not conducive to tailgating because most of the parking is in garages or small lots dispersed throughout the city.

Currently, either the Dome needs a lot of vast improvements in order to remain in the upper class of stadiums or a new stadium needs to be built. The owner of the football team wants taxpayer dollars to pay for a new stadium/improvements. It's questionable if the City has the money for the improvements necessary. There have been rumors of the team leaving because of the stadium situation and I for one am one that is more than willing to let them go before taxpayer money is spent on a new dome. If the owner wants to build a new dome and stay, fine. If not, leave.

I saw some posts saying that too. Saying it was unfair and biased on McCullochs part to allow OW to speak to the GJ. And that it is only fair now that one of the Brown family attorneys be allowed to speak to the GJ for four hours too, to make it equal. Ummmm...no...

This is what gets me: an attorney SHOULD know the rules that Grand Juries follow -- I just can't wrap my head around all this ignorance

so true, so true :)

now mess with our Cardinals & there may be a throw down, am I right, reedus?!

Right about that krimekat. Rams fans will just avoid the game. Cards fans will come out swinging...pun intended.

IF that is Tiffany Mitchell's car (which I believe it is) in FryDaddy's picture analysis, and the time she arrived is correct, Mitchell and Piaget saw exactly NOTHING until the shooting was over.

:goodpost:

Love this!!!

I think that Law Enforcement will be very prominent downtown this weekend

City don't play. They do it right. It will be quelled or funneled and isolated IMO.

It is quite apparent that Sr wants an arrest so badly so that he can file that civil suit. I no longer see a grieving father, but someone who is simply bent on revenge and $$$$. [emoji35]

agreed & a civil suit cannot be filed unless ODW is indicted -- so sad that people are so hell bent on ODWs head on a platter; truly barbaric IMHO

and the lack of knowledge about the legal system is staggering to me; didn't we learn this cr@p in high school Civics class?

Maybe that's why she has a lawyer?

I so cannot follow that logic. Is the lesson learned for future criminals...always testify before a GJ because that means you are less likely to have committed the offense? Seems like a dangerous position to take or is that just a position for this case only?

(above, bbm)
You know what "logic" defies me? One: the nasty attitude and blatant disrespect some have for LE (until, of course, they have need of their services), and Two: the suggestion that OW is a criminal, because I don't know what else to make of the "future criminals" reference in your post. Obviously, you were referring to someone being a current criminal to have to even mention future criminals...I only see one criminal here, and that is, by logic, the person who (on tape) steals from, and bullies store clerks.

It's this behavior that tells me I am different from those folks, plain and simple. We may all be human but we are not all the same.

Often there is a political agenda behind the protests that citizens are not aware of. Citizens are used regardless of the exposure to potential danger because those in charge have an agenda. Essentially those citizens, if injured, become collateral damage. Everyone has a right to protest in a civil manner.

The real issue not being addressed is too many young people are being shot and killed in our inner cities that have nothing, nothing to do with the police. This should be the call, this should be the outrage. In St. Louis last night a one year old and her 23 year old father were shot in the BACK. The baby is in critical, unstable condition.

30K drunk tailgaiters for MNF...my money is on the football peeps.

are there typically that many Lambs fans tailgating, I mean Rams? Maybe for Monday Night Football & the chance to be on TeeVee but honestly, I usually get Rams tickets given to me due to the lack of interest; last game (last yr) I went to was Bears/Lambs & there were many more Bears fans in the Dome than Rams fans

Now Cardinal Fans - we always pack the Stadium with > 46K people :)

This is what's so infuriating. Lawyers, LAWYERS are perpetuating misconceptions about how the process works in order to keep the flames of unrest and outrage buning. It was great to see Megyn Kelly calle out Parks when he tried asserting such falsehoods on her show. Too bad others in the media turn a blind eye.

IMO if no one else is going to speak out about these types of statements and/or beliefs, Holder should.

This collage wasn't my find, I will let you be the judge of it's value as a piece of evidence or rubbish. Obviously top two photos indicate the black car (I believe it's an older model Chevy Lumina, those who posted call it a Monte Carlo, but my often failing memory thought the Monte didn't come in four doors, the equivalent Lumina did) belongs to Tiffany Mitchell. The second two photos are screen grabs from Piaget's video. You'll notice the car behind the SUV pulling into the driveway looks like the same car in the first two photos. My contribution to this is to nail down that the car is pulling into the lot at 12:11p and the first proof of Tiffany being in Piaget's apartment was when Piaget was filming the cop placing the sheet on the body about 12:16p.

this is awesome! Thanks for sharing

Piaget said on her CNN interview, that she 'and her boss' were watching the whole thing from her balcony. Could that be true? I don't see how if Tiffany was just pulling up in her car.

why is her "boss" in her crime-ridden apt ??? do we know what she does for a living ? I could only imagine . . .

It doesn't really look like she's holding their attention much at all. Most of the students seem to be looking elsewhere.

So sad...do they not realize who she is? SMH

Is her message that contrary to what they hear at home :(

"We wanted to begin our dialogue with the community by clearing up the misinformation that is circulating so they [the community] know exactly where we stand on things with full transparency," Ferguson Mayor James Knowles said.

Good luck with that lofty endeavor Mr. Mayor. He'll likely be shouted down within the first few minutes.

yep, another cr@ppy area of North City = Walnut Park where DJ grew up; certain areas of StL metro that I don't visit . . .

I get the outrage of someone being killed but this is an everyday occurrence in The Lou & it took a white cop shooting dead a black man for a community to be outraged?! Until "they" rid the areas of the criminal element, people will still be killed! And we wonder why so many murders in The Lou are never solved . . . Snitches Get Stitches

It definitely seems possible.
