Nice little theory there. Of course it would help make it believable if Officer Wilson was actually standing in his car when he fired the shots.

Nice try and some will believe it.
They are tweeting and retweeting and acting like it is the big smoking gun.

Maybe the writer thinks OW was standing ONTOP of the SUV, hence the top of the head shot??

ITA. This story teller, gatherer of facts *ugh* would be correct if the SUV shot MB. More BS as usual.

Dang it. I was looking for the comment section so I could enlighten him, but :sigh: there is none.

Oh well

Yawn

Exactly.

The chief was incorrect when he said 35 feet, and I remember FryDaddy giving us the correct footage. But that doesn't make OW guilty.

There is NO enlightening some, they will only believe what they choose to believe. They will believe for their own agendas.

Here is the major big story on #Feruguson twitter. The breaking story that the police chief lied and they can prove it and he needs to be fired:

"wait for the facts?" Hardly a good idea when the #Ferguson police are so busy making them up... https://storify.com/VeryWhiteGuy/shaunking-exposes-ferguson-pd-lie-about-distance-f …

In that video, the Chief says it was 35 feet from the window of Wilson's car to where Mike Brown was killed. This was a DELIBERATE lie.
An officer is allowed, expected even, to use force, when in danger, when as much as 25-35 feet away. Mike Brown was ONE HUNDRED feet away.

[OK, so the big lie is the distance from the SUV, that the body fell. But they seem to make the assumption that OW stayed with the SUV. But he didn't. He ran behind chasing them. So he was only a few feet away at the final shots. So what is the big deal about the 100 foot distance?]
OK that's it. I'm done. The chief of police lied. Is it too late to change my vote? Go ahead and put me down for guilty now. Yep. OW, the chief, the mayor should all be convicted and given the death penalty.

(Now where is that dripping with sarcasm emoticon when you need it???)

:giggle: One of my personal favorites:

Unable to kill a fleeing Mike Brown from 100 feet away, Wilson executed Mike Brown face to face when he finally stopped & surrendered

You know, 'cause he was shot face to face at 100 feet away

Happens all the time dontcha know

Okay, okay, you got me. I only wanted to comment for my own personal entertainment :giggle:

I am curious to see how many protestors they actually will get there on Sunday for the Rams game. It's going to be harder than getting them out in Ferguson. And they are going to need a lot more if they want to even be noticed among the crowd. Or to even stand up for themselves.

When they say ' No Fooball'--what are they saying, exactly? How do they expect to shut down an NFL game? It would take a lot more than they have shown so far to accomplish that task. And in the end, it would mean serious :jail: time. I have a feeling this threat will go by the wayside.
I am going to make a small wager that the game will go on as planned and that there won't even be the slightest mention of a protest during the game telecast. Just a hunch.

Everyone should. Not everyone will. White or black.

I know of a white kid, got a ticket for tinted windows. $70 fine. Ignored it, it went warrant. Paid a lawyer $150 to get the warrant recalled. The lawyer did, though now had another $50 failure to appear fine attached to it and given a new date. You can guess what happened then. No pay. No appear. Warrant issued. Another $150 to lawyer to get warrant recalled. Another $50 failure to appear fine. He paid it then. What would have cost $70 and had no points ended up costing him $470. Can't fix stupid. Of course, that wasn't in Ferguson but out in St. Charles County.

Yepp which made no sense to me, beyond the fact that the kid was just scared of dealing with the courts/LE. Even after it went warrant, told him he could have paid the $70 fine and $50 failure to appear fine ($120 total) and it was less than the lawyer and the warrant would disappear as soon as the payment was made. Told him if you're afraid of being arrested just for trying to pay the fine, have your mom take it up there for you.

This fellow is a good example of what's going wrong & I think fear of court has very little to do with it. The root of it is no respect for other people, disregard for the law & no values other than what is cool with their peers. It's no big deal (& possibly encouraged) to be disrespectful. Courts & agencies are bogged-down & the day of reckoning is somewhere far down the road. Meanwhile, don't worry about it.

There was discussion earlier about unpaid fines & warrants. People, not just young people, keep flipping it off. Where is the sense of respect & desire to do what is right & legal? Laws address darkened windows & clearly define penalties for not complying. It's cool until you get a ticket. The fine for that & subsequent penalties are ok as long as you are getting away with it... Driving without a license is ok, until you get caught & hauled in... Not paying child-support is ok until they garnish your wages... Stealing cigars from a store is ok, if you can get away with it.... Disobeying an Officer is ok, if you get away with it.

When my son was 18 he traded in his old pick up for a newer cooler F-150 with tinted windows. It was his $ and his decision, as he worked hard for the money himself. But we told him he'd get tickets for the windows. He did--the first week. He didn't get a fine, just a fix-it ticket, cuz he showed them the bill of sale. They said, if we see you again out driving with these tinted so dark it is a big fine.

So he got the front windows untinted. I was proud of that decision. His friend did not do so, and ended up with compounding fines and eventually warrant. Had to stop driving while he saved up $ to pay it all off.

ETA: that was almost 10 yrs ago now. My son is happily married, they bought their first house and he has a great job. His friend, who made less responsible choices, is living in his grandparents basement, lost his license for 2 years, and in unemployed. So the choices kids make in the teen years can be very revealing.

Great post!

And, IMO, many kids learn it already from their parents to have no respect for anything.

That made me

The biggest joke is where they got their info. :giggle:

Much like MSM, they took a snippet of info, and twisted it to fit the narrative

Yes, with his fists and whispering sweet little nothings! LOL

Actually, I would be curious to find out what MB said to the little store clerk.

Officer who shot dead unarmed teen Michael Brown emerges from hiding to testify at grand jury investigation

The Missouri police officer who caused a national furor when he shot dead unarmed teenager Michael Brown has testified in front of a grand jury investigating whether he should face criminal charges.

Darren Wilson, who shot 18-year-old Brown six times in Ferguson, Missouri, emerged from hiding on Wednesday to appear in front of a St. Louis County grand jury.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Wilson was 'cooperative,' he though he was not legally obligated to appear in front of the panel.

Prosecuting attorney Robert McCulloch convened the grand jury to determine whether there is enough evidence to charge Wilson with a crime for killing Brown.

McCulloch on Wednesday announced that if the grand jury finds no cause to file charges against Wilson, he will order the immediate release of audio recordings and transcripts of the proceedings.
