Again, the only autopsy that has been referred to is Dr. Baden's and his initial findings. There are no other reports that we have had access to at this time. Posters are permitted to sleuth on the information they have available to them.

I get that- just keep seeing posts about OW's statements, his facial injuries and the autopsy's conclusions as if they are known things- when in fact- we have seen none of those things.

No final autopsies, reports or pics of the injuries have been officially released. Just wanted to say that because the last few threads you'd get the wrong idea about those things.

Spotted on Twitter. I hope this person is right:

"Just been told the #Ferguson PD have said if protestors are in the street, arrest them"

About friggin time!

If he didn't have visible injuries, the hospital would not have taken the x-rays. If he didn't have visible injuries, his story would have fallen apart and he'd probably be in :jail:

A hospital will take an x-ray if you say you had a head injury and think you need it- they do not need to see evidence of the injury. I had a cat scan based only on my word.
Liability.

"About 35 people were protesting at 2:16 p.m. on South Florissant Road about a block from the police department when a protester claimed he had been bumped by a vehicle, according to Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson. No one reported any injuries, but the driver was arrested along with a protester who damaged the man's car. A third man was taken into custody when he ignored police orders to get out of the roadway." [St. Louis Post-Dispatch]

If you want to choose to believe Dorian Johnson over the police officer, that is fine. I just decided to look at what Dorian and Mike were up to, and what their behavior was in the preceding minutes, in comparison to what the officer was doing. Big Mike was caught on tape being an aggressive, confrontational guy. So I dont know why you would believe that in the next few moments, the aggressive confrontational guy, would suddenly become a gentle, compliant victim?

SO, you are advocating shooting protesters, it's America for some, but not for all. Got it.

Sometimes people use a bit of levity here. No one was literally calling for them to be shot.

Stop the baiting, now, or there will be time outs.

Just correcting that you cannot get an x ray on your head unless you have a visible injury. That has never been so. Hospitals take head injuries very seriously- visible or not.

I don't believe either of them at the moment.

I wonder how much all of this anarchy and shenanigans is costing the federal and state taxpayer? I hope MSM puts out some articles on the enormous costs of all this protest.

Emerson recently offered over $4.4M in scholarships and training. The CEO should buy every Ferguson/StLC police officer a body cam for a tiny fraction of that amount.

If I am looking at a 'he said' vs 'he said' situation, I take past history into account. Dorian has a recent arrest for lying to police in a case where he stole something. And I saw him flat out lie in this case, in his initial account. But the officer does not have that kind of history and there have been no write ups or citizen complaints accusing him of lying or violence. And we know that the officer was not being belligerent or aggressive in the moments prior to the interaction, unlike MB, who was confrontational and aggressive and felonious. So I don't really understand why one would lean towards Dorians version at all.

I picked up some soft pretzels and popcorn for the weekend. If nothing else, the protests are entertaining. I wish they could all intimidate, bully, threaten and destroy each other. It's tragic that it happens to everyday citizens and businesses who want nothing to do with it.
