It is a huge problem when inaccurate information comes from LEO. You may not hold them to a higher standard than ordinary citizens, but I do.

I don't expect perfection, I have reasonable expectations.

So, you can think of nothing substantial they add to the case. At least we are starting to find some common ground. Thanks!

Don't you just love that special feeling you get when there is a meeting of the minds?

As I have stated over and over again- real physical evidence weighed against witnesses' statements will change my mind. Second or third hand info or anonymous leaks will not. It is very simple. I always thought real evidence matters to us here? Not sure why someone wanting to see it is a bad thing?

It is widely accepted here that the cheif "goofed" a few times- the remarks about distance and OW not knowing about the robbery- then knowing, not sure why I'd accept vague second hand info as anything truly verifiable at this point. Rumours are flying in all directions- we do not know the truth of most of it.
And yes, when the new pics of OW came out, people were saying he still looked swollen and comparing them to how he had looked before as if they had seen them. Except how he looked that day, we really do not know- do we? I do not think we do.

MOO

LOL - Change your mind from what?

1st BBM that itself is debatable and a matter of opinion not fact. I don't feel misinformed by the chief one little bit. Assuming that is a reference to the release of the convenience store video due to FOIA requests rather than a smear campaign.

2nd BBM we have also not seen pics of the actual shooting or the "scuffle" at the car and yet people seem to have very strong and deeply entrenched opinions on what happened there as well, from both sides of the debate.

fact=we have zero facts aside from the fact that an unarmed man was shot during some sort of confrontation with an armed police officer while that officer was on duty.

So the circular debate about which items should be seen as evidence and which should not is moot.

I'm not having a circular debate promoting anything as evidence. I said we do not have nearly enough. I am not entrenched nor am I making any assumptions about who is telling the complete truth yet.

The other misinformation from Jackson was about the shooting was the distance, so he has goofed on some facts according to Sleuthers here.

LOL - Change your mind from what?

From not knowing what happened. I do not claim to know anything based on the paltry evidence we have so far.
You can feel free to base your judgments on second hand info and anonymous callers. To me, none of that is evidence. That is not something I am comfortable with.

Are there no live feeds on the inside?

Were they not able to get free tickets?

Just like the highway shutdown was such a success

OOPSIE--Bassem the livestream guy just had a realization. He said " I can't stream any of the football game LIVE, so if anything happens with the protests, I will turn the stream back on...LOL

So they had this big huge BUILDUP, of how they were going to 'SHUT DOWN' the game....and they are just now figuring out they can't even video tape it if they did cause a ruckus...

They got some tickets. Tickets sell for 7 bucks on the day of the game, lol. So they went inside. But it is ILLEGAL to livestream from inside the game. Against Federal Broadcasting Regs and such. So they are all scattered around inside. Cant imagine what they expect to do inside with all that NFL security.

You argue from an obvious point of view though. Gotta base that on something.

I do not support these protests because they are now about everything including the kitchen sink, but will say this is a wise move on protesters part. :cow: But I do think it is a smart move by those organizing to take these protests to areas where those who they feel are not like them must be confronted by their "message"

It's "smart" to protest "where those who they feel are not like them must be confronted by their message"? I don't consider that smart, unless alienating and angering sizable numbers of people is the goal. The message those newly alienated people receive ioudly and clearly is "those angry, law-breaking black people really aren't like us, are they?"

I guess they can enjoy the game and their donated tickets they asked for :-)

So this is the fool that started the entire " nojusticenofootball' farce. And now he says he is allowing them to play? Translation: we FAILED --so we gave up and are trying to save face

My point of view- everyone we have "heard" from is self interested, and I do not know who to trust until the evidence is in. And it is not.
And that is my last word on that.

I know who not to trust.....DJ. The guy that has a warrant out for his arrest for lying to police. Sorry but there is no way in hello that I would trust anything that comes out of his mouth.
