I truly believe no true bill, but don't you think they'll wait just a little bit longer before announcing? Maybe after the elections?

I truly don't know, which is why I'm asking: Are there any rules or statutes governing when GJ decisions are announced? Even if there are no laws governing an "announcement," there must be something governing when the GJ's decision is formally filed... with the clerk of the court's office, or wherever it gets filed, and the filing would probably be public record. Yes? No?

I mean, I can't imagine that GJ decisions can be kept secret (i.e., unannounced & unfiled) for as long as they want to. It seems like there would have be some sort of deadline. Does anyone know if there is, and if so what it might be?

Maybe I'm just looking at Nadal's tweet differently. I have a bad feeling in my stomach after reading that. She wouldn't be dumb enough to have knowledge of something unlawful going down, and tweet about it, would she?

Nah.

After reading her past tweets, that's exactly the same feeling I have. That she's trying to protect her people from something. I wouldn;t put it past her. Her interns attacked that guy in the car and then she called him a member of the KKK.

I'm with you. I think a few of the thugs are planning something for tonight. They are furious about the protest camps being shut down and recent arrests JMO

[Snip wondering how to get copies of the live feeds part - I wish I knew, too]

Hey, I'm not agreeing that the pizza guy was wrong, I would be outside the store holding a rifle.

Me too! Heck, I've been fantasizing all day of ordering pizzas from that poor shop to have delivered to the PD. ;)

... Or to the guys on the line. How awesome would that scene be. :D

Do any of the major STL news stations go out and cover this ********, or is it just those two jackasses with iPhones who run all live selected live stream crap during these 'protests'?

"Their report listed the fire as electrical in nature, but the St. Louis County Police bomb and arson squad was brought in to investigate further."

Oh, I guess that was why I heard the fire dept sirens during the protests.

That was an intense moment... Those fire trucks. Everyone seemed to hold their breath. Even screamer. :p

Nah.

Who knows, but judging by some things today, it could also be that she knows LE has finally been unleashed.

Or at least a lot less leashed.

As Wyatt Earp said*, they've "Reaped the whirlwind."

*In Tombstone, anyway. :o

Question for all you GJ experts in here.

Can or does a GJ ever just stop at some point if they feel they've seen enough evidence for probable cause along the way? Or are they compelled to keep reviewing evidence and wait and wait until it all comes in? I mean, the reason I ask is that the level needed for probable cause is a pretty low. I can imagine that in a strong case, there may still be ballistics out, and maybe tox screens, etc...but they have seen enough testimony or other evidence to support moving the case forward, can they just say, ok...we've seen enough? Or do they need to go through everything before making a determination one way or the other.

In other words, I can see them waiting and going through everything if they haven't seen probable cause, but it would seem like, once they've seen enough, just move forward. Now...the reason is ask is that if this GJ felt like they HAD seen enough to indict OW, could they just step in and say, look, we've seen enough..we don't want to wait anymore, we want to get on with our lives...or are they compelled to keep working on it?

Stop it!!! Are you kidding me????

But I bet they would have absolutely no problem with them walking around with an I am MB bracelet.

This country is sick. It is truly a sickness. It is a cancer. It has infiltrated everything everywhere. I'm really starting to wonder if this GJ doesn't indict, this DOJ is just going to step in and arrest him and have a special prosecutor and take him down.

When all is said and done and OW is a free man, I hope the turns around and sues the pants off of anyone and everyone he possibly can. I hope he writes a book, does paid interviews, makes enough to buy himself the most powerful security detail in the business. And then I hope he makes enough money off of it to hire his own team of revenge-specialists to start doing some underground get even stuff.....oh....am I getting ahead of myself??? :blushing:
