It doesn't say he's been removed.

And I don't give much credence to a "PTSD survivor's" opinion of another officer's decisions. Obviously, Capt. Cuddy's service was not a bed of roses that he survived unscathed imo.

Seeing that horrid vitriol and anger last night, when that loony woman and crazy guy kept screaming at the cops, was sickening. But when that CHEER went out, upon hearing a cop was shot--- ---that was truly revolting. And I have lost every tiny shred of respect and compassion for them.

as most of StL region has lost compassion for their "movement" -- I was hanging with friends out in west County & we didn't have much positiveness to share about the situation. A couple friends work at Express Scripts which is at I70 between Florissant & Hanley Road (Normandy) & they've been working from home much more than not since this tragedy happened.

FWIW Chief Jackson's wife has been threatened & had to leave her home :(

[h=1]Wellspring Church Trio Takes Ferguson Concerns To White House[/h]
She says now that Ferguson is known nationally and now that the young people are asking for help, Phillips says someone from the administration needs to go to Ferguson and let them know that they are being heard -- in other words, “acknowledge Ferguson.”

One of the many "demands" I've seen is that Obama come to Ferguson.

Yep. I wonder who they really think their audience is. I see their cause going backward 40 years or so. Nothing constructive or of any value is taking place in Ferguson right now.

I am convinced that most of the population has forgotten Rev King's good works only 50 years ago . . . truly disgusting IMHO

Gawd! I hate it when he or Biden come to town (or any POTUS for that matter  ) ties up traffic in this tiny metropolitan area

ICA. However the problem is that he will not survive this IMO. Someone "has to pay," and if the evidence clearly exonerates OW, it's going to be the Cheif.

IMO

That is an elected position, right? If so the voters will get him out, at this point the blacks hate him and the non-black voters are none to happy with him either.

Ooh! At the end, they told him to hang up his phone and get up. (sounded like more than one officer at the end)

Coming to Ferguson/St. Louis Oct. 9-13: http://www.answercoalition.org/national/news/national-mobilization-Ferguson-Michael-Brown.html

Major disruptions on Monday, Oct. 13, iirc Rams Monday Night Football game.

"On Monday, October 13th we will conduct civil disobedience and major demonstrations at significant targets."

I've been pulled over a couple of times for speeding, once for a light out, I wasn't allowed to text or video on my cell while this was going down. Any of you been stopped and been allowed to video tape while the cop is trying to do his/her job? Amazing!

Apparently on the radio today McCulloch said "the law should apply to everyone, even someone walking in middle of street" re: MB. #Ferguson

Given the way it ended, I think he was arrested this time, but IDK.

Agree 100%

From reflection in his livestream and audio, I think it's a black female officer that pulled him over.

My audio kept going in and out, but he tried to tell her he was being targeted. Then later she said " you were not being targeted Sir, your brake lights are out.' lol

Also, he was whining to them that his lights keep shorting out and said " I dont know what I can do about it..."

Ummm.....go to a mechanic?

It was funny that he threw in the fact that Daddy 'owns a local store.' lol

Haven't followed since nothing came about on Friday. Sounds like since then 1 cop was shot while patrolling at the Community center and another cop was shot at on 70 but both have been said by LE to be unrelated at this point. What about the protests themselves? I started to watch the livestream but have no sound. Seemed any protests were short of activity though I'm gathering from the posts they were full of words. The only one I watched was one someone posted and said to watch at the 22 minute mark but visually at least, it seemed pretty laid back compared to other night. Small group of cops (maybe a dozen) that eventually just left and a small group across the street. No battle lines drawn like even on Friday night. Missing anything?

You have a legal right to do so. Police will often try to discourage it, but accountability should be a two way street, IMHO. Why would anyone want less rights? Mind boggling, MOO.

As long as the perception of a majority of the people who live there is that they are being targeted and mistreated the problem will never be solved.

It is unconscionable that a police department, that is primarily white, lording over a town that is predominantly black, is not being held accountable for escalating the troubles in Ferguson.

This is not to say that the people who are looting/breaking the law should not be held accountable, as well.

Until they have a diversified/integrated THE Ferguson Police Department, I suggest to you that there will never be peace in Ferguson. IMO

Have you seen the way black cops are treated in this town? They get SPIT ON, called Uncle Toms, yelled at for BETRAYING THEIR RACE, bottles of urine thrown at them, and you think having more black cops is going to HELP?
