Is it false??? Maybe I missed the posts, but my understanding is that Wilson was not responding to the BOLO. I know that the Chief said he wasn't then later said he was and then later said he wasn't. Can you please post the most current statement that as a matter of fact, Wilson was responding to a suspicion that MB was a suspect in the robbery? TIA. JMO
I am sorry, I am not digging up the links yet again. It has posted at least a dozen times in the thread yesterday. Officer Wilson became aware of the BOLO after he stopped the two and told them to get out of the street. That was not the reason for the initial contact but he did become aware of the BOLO before the confrontation that led to the shooting. jmo

It's the timing? This all happened in a 10-15min window. There's nothing suspect IMO about the timing of the BOLO. Had the dispatch been after the shooting is what would be suspect. All this timing can be proven with time stamps.

With all due respect, you feel/believe what you like, I do the same..

If I feel something is suspect, me..

I bypass many a post that I don't agree with you don't have to agree with me..but you don't get to say what I do or don't suspect. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, feelings, opinions..

I bet these silent protestors will obey the curfew.

I hope they'll be safe.

ETA: anyone know where they're standing?

A couple examples of tragedies that backfired on Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson, when they inserted themselves were mentioned in earlier posts. One that the previous examples doesn't hold a candle too was virtually silenced by Fed/State politicians, the DOJ, FBI, and ms media was the AAC(NY)/Nuwaubian Cult(GA) whose pedophile prophet Dwight Malachi York, is serving 135 years in federal super max for 70+ counts of child molestation(youngest 8 years old), RICO, etc. It is estimated that DMZY has over 200 illegitimate children...The FBI witheld DMZY's investigative file from NYPD for two decades which included murders, arsons, rapes, etc..

Or due to the video of the store.

He smoked weed.

he drank beer.

This is the new way of defending the accused, you (general you) start trashing the victim. Most trials are geared this way lately..

No, this seems to be something NEW that is going to be revealed. The crowd at the rally already knew all about the robbery and they knew about the beer/wed, because of the 'memorial' in the street, where his friends left bottles of MD2020 and cough syrup with the flowers.

It is not about 'trashing' the victim. It's about telling the TRUE story of what happened. You have a situation where you have to weigh one persons word against the others. On one hand, you have a 28 yr old officer, with no prior malicious incidents, recently decorated with a medal for valor, pulling over to tell two teens to get out of the middle of the street.

Telling a different version is MB and DJ. And it is totally relevant to know what they had been up to in the ten minutes preceding the shooting. Originally we heard that MB was a gentle ,quiet, soon to be college student, walking to visit grandma. But the video released shows that there was something else going on that brings that narrative into question. That video shows an aggressive, scary bully, stealing and showing no hesitation to get in the clerks face, grabbing his neck, shoving the much smaller, older man into the wall. How is that NOT relevant to the question of what happened 10 minutes later?

Especially if the officer is saying that this same teen was physically aggressive, combatant and assaulted him first. Without seeing the video, it might have seemed doubtful. But once you see how he acted in the store during the robbery, it makes perfect sense. He was in an aggressive mode that continued as he walked down the middle of the street. jmo :moo:

I dont' know, I'm not privy to the PD...

It's the timing. It's the feeling of cover the cops 🤬🤬🤬 mode. Some police are rogue, have an agenda. Police have falsified info too (not saying that the case here). Many NYPD have been charged an convicted of crimes lately. Not all are trusted and you are usually able to tell what cops are corrupt..attitude matters..

IMO, since the robbery was called in approximately 10 minutes before the altercation and shooting, it seems the timing of a BOLO makes sense. If anyone called in a robbery with descriptions, it would be odd if that info wasn't broadcast, jmo.

Why does Browns attitude not matter to you?

When compared to a cop with a stellar record and even an accommodation mean nothing ???

As you can see, I do have a bad taste in my mouth for police officers. I have a family member who is a disgrace. They happily bragged about setting up someone, backing his partner as not to face the IAD or possibly charges. We don't speak. I find that disgraceful to not be honest about things. So my skepticism comes from my own experience.

And no, people can hide their bad side..sociopaths do it all the time..

Watch the video. Watch it a few times

It appears this man was shot after laying down his weapon....look
Closely.
As the criminal lays down his weapon with his left hand, his right hand is removing a handgun from the back of his waistband... The cop behind him sees it and yells gun. It's still in his right hand after he's shot.

I was just watching CNN and they were interviewing a young girl - Maya Aaten-White who was shot in the head four days ago during the protest. This is first that I have heard about this! It seems this shooting was completely ignored by the msm up till now. CNN tried to downplay the incident saying she "was injured'. So there have been two shootings committed by protesters and the media and the black community don't give a damn?

it's not false, the Chief said it, then miraculously a BOLO came a minute later and Wilson then backed up due to seeing the description and approached DJ and MB..

I don't post false information, I just might not be on the side of the fence you or anyone else sits..

The Chief did not say the BOLO was the reason, he said the officer spotted cigars.

Jackson said the officer was aware cigars had been taken in the robbery of a store nearby, but did not know when he encountered Brown and Dorian Johnson that they might be suspects. He stopped them because they were walking in the street, Jackson said.

But Jackson told the Post-Dispatch that the officer, Darren Wilson, saw cigars in Brown's hand and realized he might be the robber.

Here are relevant quotes and citations for easy reference on this thread:

1. " Police Chief Thomas Jackson said the officer who fired the fatal shots, Darren Wilson, did not know Michael Brown was a robbery suspect when he initially stopped the teen and a companion "because they were walking down the middle of the street blocking traffic."

Jackson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Wilson knew there had been a robbery in the area but did not know that Brown was a suspect."

2. "The officer drove away but stopped and backed up, almost hitting the pair, Johnson (ETA: MB's friend) said. He said he wasn't sure what prompted the officer to return.
http://www.cnn.com/2014/08/14/us/ferguson-michael-brown-shooting-5-things/index.html.

3. Ferguson officer realized during encounter that Michael Brown might be suspect in robbery, chief says.

Again we don't know if he assaulted the police officer, to what degree, what prompted the assault or shooting, or if he struggled for his weapon. I don't think it's fair for you to be able to say something like it's a fact, but then attack my opinion that he wasn't a public threat.

IMO the store video showed MB WAS a public threat.

listen I didn't say BOLO was the reason, I said exactly what you said above. After the officer heard the BOLO he backed up because he noticed the clothing, then the cigars...SMH
