Crump was just on MSNBC, saying that the wound on the inside of his palm, bear the thumb PROVES that he had his hands up. The woman with him said that in itself was enough to get an indictment for the cop. ?
Or was it from when the gun possibly went off in the police officers car. When Michael tried to get his gun.

He could have been running towards the cop with his arms flailing, he could have been shooting him the finger, reaching for him, throwing something at him, making a peace sign in his direction, etc, etc, etc.
They really know how to stretch it don't they?

I was on the road pretty much all day today, listening to national talk radio.

WHY are we ignoring all the black on black crime deaths in Chicago and Detroit? There are many, every day, a caller said. Why are we focusing on this one White officer who shot a Black man in self-defense? Why is the media doing that? Why is the media completely ignoring black on black murders that happen in crime ridden neighborhoods in major cities every single day? Interesting discussions.

Right?

The narrative was he was on his knees with his hands in the air, facing the officer....surrendering. How does a bullet hit his thumb AND palm????

SMH!

Because folks like Krump and Rev.Al and Jesse Jackson don't pitch their circus tents for that. The media ignores it and it's just another day in the hood. IMO

I said the Government always wins. The topic of the thread is about protests against an American agency of government. Didn't realize I needed to spell it out. My apologies.

What are you referring? This is a local government issue that morphed into a cluster****. It is a protest against the Ferguson police department not the US government. Plenty of state and local governments have lost in US history (Topeka v. Board of Education, confederate states, etc). You stated government's always win and this is just not accurate, now you are acting as if I should have been able to read you mind. Sorry, I didn't get your inference. My original post was a failed light hearted attempt to point out that governments don't always win.

Maybe it's just me, but I find what has been "conveniently omitted" from Dr. Baden's carefully scripted items released to media from his autopsy report this evening, just as interesting as what was chosen to be included. Dr. Baden is definitely aware of the preliminary toxicology report. Gosh-- isn't it interesting that Dr. Baden's findings are released on a Sunday evening?? Just before mandated curfew?

Dr. Baden chose to say nothing at all about the preliminary tox report. Nothing. If it was completely negative, I feel certain that the family would have wanted that released, too.

Sorry to be a cynic, but there is a whole lot more autopsy info available right now than what was shared, IMO. And IMO, if it isn't complimentary to MB, it has to be delayed or suppressed, as long as possible, or until a cover story has been concocted to "explain".

IMO, this young man's toxicology report is going to be positive, for more than one intoxicating substance.

It should also be noted they have been sitting on this report for several days.

Pathetic nonsense IMO.

And that is Baden's report. Four to his arm, two to the head. Fatal bullet into the top of his head, which tends to support the theory he was aggressively moving toward the Officer with head lowered. JMO

Dr Baden said, after the autopsy Sunday/today (wasted no time before doing interview w NYT):
“People have been asking: How many times was he shot? This information could have been released on Day 1,” Dr. Baden said in an interview after performing the autopsy. “They don’t do that, even as feelings built up among the citizenry that there was a cover-up. We are hoping to alleviate that.”
Dr. Baden said that while Mr. Brown was shot at least six times....
“This one here looks like his head was bent downward,” he said, indicating the wound at the very top of Mr. Brown’s head. “It can be because he’s giving up, or because he’s charging forward at the officer.”
He stressed that his information does not assign blame or justify the shooting." BBM SBM

Stepping beyond the pathologist's role and playing the role of the advocate --
talking about feelings of the citizenry, info could have bn released on day 1, etc.
Yet he has not seen the Xrays, and not seen witness and police stmts. More in link.

Bolded and underscored: Fodder for prosecutor's cross examination?

You probably won't since you aren't a black male, but the African American experience of law enforcement is deplorable. Things like being stopped for being black if you are in a nice car, or for shopping in a nice store. Or having things planted on you, finding the ratio of white inmates to black is so out of proportion only a certain amount of corruption and racism can explain it. This is not the only case of black teens gunned down unarmed, yet you never hear of white teens gunned down unarmed. Sometimes its the straw that breaks the camels back.

Bottom line, the black male is not going to trust LE or take their word without solid evidence as their experience is almost the total opposite of what a whites experience with LE is.

I think you can understand it if you aren't a black male but it takes suspending your experience with LE and then looking at it from their side.

This case has nothing to do with race. Brown and Johnson attracted the officer's attention because they were in the street rather than walking on the sidewalk. There was no racial profiling involved. My kid is white and he was stopped and given a ticket for riding his go-cart in the street. The majority of the inmates are in prison because they are guilty and not because corrupt cops put them there.

I'm sure people have their reasons and may not trust LE but they still have to respect them and let them do their job.

Do these innocent black males include Lemaricus Davidson, Letalvis Cobbins, and George Thomas?
