I just verified with my husband, a firearms expert, an ex federal law enforcement and an expert marksman- a person who is standing still and is hit by fire will fall backwards. A person moving towards someone who is hit by fire will fall forwards.

(For the record, in my hubby's training for federal law enforcement, they were required to draw from a holstered position and fire off 3 shots and hit center mass of target in 1 second in order to pass qualifications. I have no idea how he did it... I can't even get my brain to think that quickly...)

Very interesting. I hope the grand jury will be provided with this kind of information. Maybe your hubby can make a quick presentation?

I guess they are saying martial law is in effect because National guard has been brought in and Also because various areas of the town are blocked off and polce mandated areas are in effect for various functions not for peoples safty but so that the police wont beat the crap out of you

Yes, and realize in MO you can carry a loaded firearm in your vehicle.

I know you are worried about the responsibility, but unlike having a very aggressive canine that needs to be controlled/watched over/protected/fenced in, a firearm just sits there quietly until needed. And if it is needed, it is needed quite badly.

True, but he has managed NOT to investigate the IRS and not to investigate Fast and Furious...so I have my doubts. I believe he will give MB the benefit of the doubt and give the officer none.

You could be right. He may file federal charges just to placate everybody and let a jury decide.
