Yes that was awful. I was living in Northern California and there were even riots there. I recall having to drive 8 week old rescue puppies to a vet and go through San Francisco, I had a loaded shotgun in the trunk just in case (it may not have been legal but no rioters/looters were going to touch/menace my fragile rescue pups).

Awwwww <3

2 years ago i adopted a "rescue dog"

BEST DECISION EVER!

blowout fracture w/pic: http://www.aapos.org/terms/conditions/28

A struggle over the gun wouldn't have caused that.

What???!!!! c'mon. I'm not saying this report is true or not, we don't know yet, but a "struggle over the gun" could definitely result in Wilson being injured in this type of manner.

Go back a few pages, quotes from MBs lawyer on Nancy Grace last night...he confirms "significant interaction" between the 2.

I'm waiting on MSM confirmation of this, but rumor has it that a source within the Prosecuting Attorney's office has released information that Darren Wilson suffered an orbital blowout fracture and the info was allegedly confirmed by St. Louis County Police. The info comes with a copy of a CT scan, but it is not on MSM so I don't want to link it. Google! IMO

They're no joke. My son had one when he was 8 years old. The bruise lasted for over a year!

""Officers received a call for a subject who appeared agitated and was armed with a knife. Suspect yelled kill me now and approached," Dotson tweeted.

Two officers arrive at the scene aware of the situation, and ask the crazy guy to put down the weapon he was using to goad them into killing him, and when he refused and approached them they granted his wish? There should have been a better way to deal with such a scenario than that imo. It at least seems to be a training failure.

Hmmmm

What if the officer was your husband or son? Do you want to disarm law enforcement ?
What's the plan????

That is the way to handle such a scenario. Police have a right to protect themselves.

Interesting information, thanks! I think Ferguson PD is waiting to provide all their information/proof to the GJ. You know, they've kept it close to the vest.

Right or wrong?

As we've seen from the autopsy report, it has been twisted and turned a thousand ways. The same thing is going to happen to any evidence provided for the officer! However, it will be much worse as the evidence will clear him and prove his written report is correct.

Is it possible that Holder has been sent to Ferguson to be there when the GJ makes its decision? When this decision is announced, and the officer is not charged, a war will erupt! So sorry to say that, but we haven't seen the worst yet!

My opinions only!

Also wanted to point out that a few hours ago, when trying to view Black Canseco's video with the man talking in the background about Michael charging at the cop, the video was not available anymore, it has a message "this video is private". Either someone out there is doing damage control or perhaps LE has done this for the purpose of evidence collection.

I know someone here downloaded it for just that reason!

You're absolutely right. I meant that two sets of hands wrestling over a gun wouldn't have caused the eye-bone fracture, which corroborates Ofc. Wilson's reported contention that MB punched him in the face.

"Nancy, without question, there was some level of interaction, strong interaction, between the officer and Michael at the car. We don`t deny that,” Daryl Parks, attorney for Brown’s family said Monday night. “I think as evidence comes out, you'll see and hear more of that. But that`s not what killed him.”
http://www.hlntv.com/video/2014/08/1...opsy-fight-car

I will edit my last post as he says "interaction" not struggle.

I think it's important to note that if this is how he states it, the reality is likely much worse.

No. This case is unusual in that it's backwards in a sense. The prosecution will be seeking to prosecute Williams, so he is the defendant. Typically the defense does not get to present to the GJ. It's all one sided, against the defendant. Hence the phrase, "you can get a GJ to indict a ham sandwich."

I don't know the facts. Was the scene inside or outside the store? Was the store empty when the 2 officers arrived? Could they have waited him out and captured him en masse later on? Could they have brought a loved you to the scene to communicate with him? etc. etc. etc.

Let's wait for MSM reporting on any injuries Ofc. Wilson may have received instead of reporting it as a rumor and then having posters comment on what happened as though it is a fact. If you have confirmation, then please post a link along with your comments.

DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT POST PICTURES OF MINORS HERE.

Thanks, Lambchop

We will have differing opinions. :). I see it as intentionally stirring the pot by CNN, but it may be b/c CNN has gone over the top w their coverage and bias w this situation.

This is just a guess but I think CNN is frustrated because un-credentialed people are representing themselves to be media. To be credentialed, the media must work with the police public information officer and coordinate what information is released and when. The media can not intentionally lie but they do have to adhere to a code of ethics. Bloggers, social media have no code of ethics. I was astounded at the size of the media "crowd" last night and I bet the police crack down, review credentials and require credentials be clearly visible.

And risk turning on someone else?
You expect LE to keep retreating?
Clear the area? There were Two officers and a combative man wielding a knife four feet from an officer....

a lasso perhaps?

Oh ok, gotcha. Sorry I thought you were trying to say he wouldn't have sustained the injury at all.

My son got a really, really bad black eye a few years ago from smacking heads with another kid on the BB court. They thought at first he had this type of injury it was hella scary looking. Thankfully he didn't.

I also read this type of injury, if severe enough can cause permanent damage.

Elly Mae please link to data about Michael Brown's "previous runs ins" and "juvie records" which you reference in your post. I haven't seen anything about those.

I can not find the post, but found it quoted, (#721). I probably shouldn't have spoke, seems it may not be confirmed at this time.
