I will add... LE did the best job last night. IMO they have become very organized and responded to outbursts.

Very repectfully my dear pop! oh my, if last night was an indication of "organization " we are in big trouble IMO. It was horrifying pop- I took a xanex so I could keep trying to keep up with the madness!!

Again repectfully just asking did you see Tim live feed? Mortifying,,,,,,,,,,

It was the worst night - but again we are All impacted by this emotionally... I think that is why we all are here cause most people dont want to talk about this ---there texting about what they ate for breakfast !

Respectfully my dear!

Good find, popsicle !

Edited to add : So, the St. Louis police are there, now, too ??
So, that makes : the Ferguson police
St. Louis police
Missouri National Guard
Missouri Highway Patrol
FBI (heard about that upthread, I think)
Eric Holder
Aaaaand of course -- the 'ambulance chasers' the Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (imo)

Anyone else they need there in Ferguson ? My friend's son-in-law is a colonel in the U.S. Army --- should they send him, as well ?
Sorry, just had to post this. If I were a political cartoonist --- I'd have some fun with this scenario..... :D

Does anyone know the reason why last night LE thought it was good to make people keep walking??

Because all the porta potties were destroyed the night before.

That did it.... I am now LOLing

If my kid robbed a store ...I'd report him myself.

My guess is for the same reason I let my 5 yr olds run around from 6:30-7pm each nite before bed-- to tire them out so they'll go to sleep!

That is brillant, i am hysterical , I never thought of that---- I like it !! Do it tongiht thanx !! Can LE ask that everyone RUN ONLY to avoid arrest ----instead of "keep moving"

We might solve this whole mess in a jiffy!!

Get them sleepy
keep them moving shows who is trying to defy what is being asked of them ( ie those stopping or walking in areas they should not be)
If they are moving its easier to pick out the bad seeds b/c instead of hiding behind the peaceful protesters they will be seen every now and then by police.

Yes, I watch him too. It really is hard to get a full picture by watching any one stream, reporter or twitter feed though. These "protesters" are spread out into a couple groups/areas every night. A part of them seemed to be very organized last night as well. jmo

I haven't spent much time on the "live streams" but I was watching last night around midnight and didn't understand what I was seeing. There was a very large LE contingent of various stripes standing in a line off to the right. There was an overwhelmingly white and mostly bored group of media peeps on the sidewalk. There was an AA guy in a yellow shirt, closely trailed by a small AA guy dressed like a ninja, pleading for calm from the relatively small straggle of people, presumably protesters, who seemed docile and completely aimless to me. Has the circus already left town, because I don't sense anything building in Ferguson but a desire for things there to return to normal asap.

That was one part of town. Meanwhile, chaos reigned in another part of town.

IME yes. This is a normal pedestrian situation in my neighborhood. It is annoying rude as all **** but not uncommon at all. I don't get the aversion to sidewalks but it exists.

If i just shoplifted, on video, I would walk in right spot!!!!!
