I am squarely on the fence. I really don't know what I think about this at this point. I do think that justice means a fair and just outcome and a transparent prosecution or investigation.

I am trying to picture this in my neighborhood and what it would feel like for me. I can not fault them for wanting to be heard. The bad eggs are the ones that need to be handled but I think that the majority of people just want to see things done fairly.

I grew up always knowing that LE wasn't just wearing a halloween costume.
I was raised and taught (and felt it) that if I was unlawful, disrespectful, criminalistic, or disobeyed their requests/demands that I run the risk of being shot.
They have real bullets for a reason.

This is the part that has me fuming right now. Vigorous prosecution? REALLY? Who is this guy? He's definitely not fair and impartial! He's pandering to the 'hood because he is skeered of what they might do next. Yeah, that's a good idea. Let's let lawlessness and fear dictate what moves we make in society.

Of course he's not fair or impartial, he's a politician! He's telling his constituents what they want to hear. I won't be surprised if this is "resolved" by the DOJ suing the City of Ferguson so that they will enter into an affirmative action decree. Our police department went through it thirty years ago, it now has a diverse force of men, women of all races. And the citizens residing in the crime-ridden, gang-infested sections of the city are still being terrorized by thugs. The problem isn't the race of the police officer, the problem is the thugs. Politicians have ignored the elephant in the room for quite some time.

I love the way LE made that arrest. She is in their face... turned her to cuff her and shuffled her to back and went about their business.
