I told myself I wasn't going to get involved in this thread (lol), or this whole mess because it boils my blood.. But here I am, doing what I didn't expect to do, POST!!! lol I think this whole thing has gotten sooooooo far out of hand, AND I now think that these protesters are protesting just to jump on the CRAZY TRAIN WRECK!!!! I think they just want to get out there and act like idiots just to be a part of the idiot riot...

A black teen was killed and I believe it was for good reason and NOT because he's black. Most police officers don't just go around shooting people unless they have good reason to. What ever happened to when a police officer asks you do to something like get out of the street and walk on the sidewalk, YOU DO IT instead of starting a fight. I don't believe every police officer is a "dick" if you will.... But if you start acting like one yourself, well expect some kind of trouble. Sorry, this is how I feel...

The MB killing case reminds me of a now similar case recently in Texas. In the case and death of Alfred Wright the family also insisted the DOJ become involved and supervise the death investigation. So the DOJ has been down this road so to speak at least one other time this year. In that particular case at the end of the investigation the DOJ concurred the COD and MOD, yet to this day the family is still in denial as to their son's drug use and overdose.

JMO's

Can you link this please? I haven't heard that.
It's in some of the earlier footage of the shooting. Since I didn't include a link I did include jmo.

This may be a dumb question but if this does go to trial does Officer Wilson have to hire is own attorneys?

Or is there some type of police fund/insurance/gov thing that provides for his defense?

Nixon also referred to MB as a "victim" a few days ago, it is not surprising he came out and did it again.

The first time he did it I predicted his career was over.

Maybe as the governor of MO, but I read the other day he wants to run as VP under Clinton. If she wants him, his move to do this could be at the direction of the Clinton Machine.

Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, told NBC’s “Today” show that the only way to end the unrest is “justice” — which her family and their supporters have repeatedly tied to the arrest of the police officer who killed Brown.

“Justice will bring peace, I believe,” McSpadden said.

bbm I wonder what is meant by justice.

I'm sorry, but officer Wilson was badly injured. The steps he took after that violent assault are completely justified.

Has the ER/medical record for officer Wilson been released? Thanks

I would expect the Fraternal Order of Police to offer some assistance, which I believe they do in these cases. They finally came out the other night in support of the officer the other night, thankfully. They typically do not make comments on these matters during an ongoing investigation, but since the media, and politicians and community leaders are out there calling their officer a murderer, executioner, etc...they felt they had to finally say something, as their silence was just leading to more questions. They seem to be 100% behind their officer and hopefully, they have been able to provide him with the support he and his family so desperately need at this time. What has been allowed to happen, and actually incited to happen, against this officer is contemptible.

I would say a damaged eye socket is consistent with being badly injured. Actually, it was an orbital blowout fracture.

Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, said she did not understand why police did not subdue her son with a club or stun gun.

http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/867...-head-michael-browns-parents-talk-sons-death/

Her child was (supposedly) never in trouble, a good kid etc They were only walking down the middle of the street and nothing more so why expect LE to subdue your baby with a club or stun gun?

I feel like that is an unconscious admission that she does believe he was rushing toward the officer. JMO!

I expect we all might ask the same question if we were in her shoes?

Subconscious. Unconscious is not awake and alert.

I feel like McSpadden's statement is an attempt to give the officer the benefit of the doubt, which many have been encouraging us to do. Moo
