Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, said she did not understand why police did not subdue her son with a club or stun gun.

Her child was (supposedly) never in trouble, a good kid etc They were only walking down the middle of the street and nothing more so why expect LE to subdue your baby with a club or stun gun?

I'm left wondering WHY she thought her son was doing something that would need to be 'subdued'

I expect we all might ask the same question if we were in her shoes?
No, I think not. jmo If I am standing up and shouting to everyone about my innocent baby then my next breath is WTF was he shot. Why was that Officer seeking him out like that etc. Not even thinking about clubbing my son or using a stun gun on my innocent child. please.

Bumping for Isabelle

I would say a damaged eye socket is consistent with being badly injured. Actually, it was an orbital blowout fracture.

Not up to date on that. Who reported it? Thanks

McCulloch said it could be mid-OCT before office has presented all evidence in #MichaelBrown slaying to grand jury. http://postdispat.ch/1AxR2LR

They will not like this at all.

Nixon also referred to MB as a "victim" a few days ago, it is not surprising he came out and did it again.

The first time he did it I predicted his career was over.

Makes me think there might be something better, promised to him in the future. KWIM?

I will never understand the comparison to Trayvon Martin...

Her son violently attacked a police officer? Is she that obtuse not to know that those kind of actions have justifiable consequences? If officer Wilson had done what she suggested, he would more than likely be dead.

Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, said she did not understand why police did not subdue her son with a club or stun gun. She said the officer involved should be fired and prosecuted, adding that “I would like to see him go to jail with the death penalty.”

I can understand that her pain makes it hard to be unbiased about this whole thing. But she does know that her son got physical with Wilson, even their own lawyers have admitted as much.

Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, told NBC’s “Today” show that the only way to end the unrest is “justice” — which her family and their supporters have repeatedly tied to the arrest of the police officer who killed Brown.

“Justice will bring peace, I believe,” McSpadden said.

bbm I wonder what is meant by justice.

bingo - you summed it up correctly. to some, justice apparently means doing a - b - c - z.

that'd be a good ? for the reporters to ask.

See, right or wrong they just want him arrested. No trial no jury just arrest him. Makes no sense to me at all.
