Haha, "Officer go F*** Yourself"
CNN showing video clip of officer pointing a gun at reporters (last night I believe). Reporter enraged by gun pointed at him and asks for the officer's name. Officer responds: "Go f*** yourself" So reporter says, thank you, Officer Go F*** Yourself"

Oh dear...

Who is the "new witness" CNN is talking about? Thanks

New witness heard a altercation outside. A strong voice
Looked out window saw a tussel at police car. Officer still inside car. Saw another guy in front of police car by passenger side front bumper.
(This witness only heard 2 shots)
After tussell they took off running
Witness does not know MB but saw him in neigjborhood.
Saw officer get out of his vehicle and starts shooting.nheard maybe 1 or 2 shots. Does not know if MB was struck.
This is when new witnesx ran outside to capture it on video
.
Mb was 20 feet away when shots eere fired.

Once outside MB was facing officer
MB had his arms under his stomach leaning half way down.
Officer then lets out 3-4 shots.
Saw MB take one or two steps towards officer when officer shot him.

This is a fact even of the officers up here in Canada. We had an officer kill a young man in Toronto last year when he was wielding a knife. I asked an officer I know why the other officer didn't just shoot him in the knee or something? He told me that they are trained to shoot to kill. So an officer needs to be serious when he draws. There is no going back. The difference in the case in Toronto was the bus was evacuated and he was not a threat to anyone but himself.

Edit: I meant to quote AtasteofHoney's post, as my post seems random.

I suppose I'm an old fart and ole school but I remember the westerns where the Marshall could shoot the gun out of their hand. If a perpetrator has a knife in their hand, and there is time to focus why not shoot the perpetrator in the arm and hand to disarm them? LE has to go to gun ranges on a regular basis I believe. Maybe instead of focusing on head shot and chest shot being the accuracy score, possibly accuracy on other parts of the anatomy. To me looking at yesterday's event seems more wrong than the MB event.

Cops are not snipers or sharp shooters. In most places they take a qualifying test once twice a year.

IMO you watched too many movies.

Honestly, I find that to be non-violent flippancy. And pretty quick witted since the journalist had broken no laws and should not have been spoken to with that language anyway. Seriously?

The "Go Eff Yourself" part? Well, obnoxious. And pretty funny to have it turned around on him.

Lucky for the journalist there wasn't a black jack to the back of his head for being "mouthy".

Thank GOD.

Do you think any of them chant in their sleep?

Yeh me too! Totally and dont need to just keep firing - it adds to the notion of just out of control and wildly doing it -- there is still danger to others so just blasting away like this is more like ISIS than what you would hope to see here !

Prints?

All posts are MOO

Likely forensics of some sort, prints, blood, skin/dna, etc., gngr~snap.. When MB fought over Wilson's firearm and it discharged, it likely injured MB's hand when the slide then moved forward feeding the next cartridge from the magazine into the chamber.. jmo

http://www.inetres.com/gp/military/infantry/pistol/M9.html
The M9 is carried by crew-served weapon crewmen and by others who have a personal defense requirement, such as law enforcement personnel and aviators.
The 9mm pistol has a short recoil system utilizing a falling locking block.

Upon firing, the pressure developed by the combustion gases recoils the slide-barrel assembly. After a short run, the locking block will stop the rearward movement of the barrel and release the slide which will continue its rearward movement. The slide will then extract and eject the fired cartridge case, 🤬🤬🤬🤬 the hammer and compress the recoil spring. The slide then moves forward feeding the next cartridge from the magazine into the chamber.
