Dr. Thomas W. Young, former Jackson County Medical Examiner, also says Parcells isn’t licensed. Over the phone, he affirmed this statement he gave to Kansas City media: “Shawn hung out at the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office but was not trained by me. He has been representing himself in a way that is not appropriate by giving forensic pathology opinions when is not qualified to do so.”

Young said he stands by that statement but would not comment further. A search of the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts Licensee and Registrant profile turned up nothing on Parcells. Young’s profile does appear, showing him as a licensed Medical Doctor in Kansas City, Missouri. The profile of Mitchell also pops up.

Efforts to contact Parcells have been unsuccessful.

I don't really care if Parcells is a fraud, which he well may be. If you find anymore, feel free to post, just don't respond to me. I'll only bother you, if I my hinky meter goes off.

My original post questioned the "expert". I am familiar with KC area media and they just pull some hack up that likes the media exposure. It is like Mark Gergos is some kind of superstar defense attorney. He seems like an average lawyer when I see him on cable news.

I have no idea why the Brown family hired Crump and Co. I felt like they did a horrible job for the Martin family. I am not a lawyer, but I would dump all the bad stuff ASAP and work to gain trust. If you make a bunch of claims or omit facts, it destroys your credibility from the get go and I don't know how you regain it. Although, to be fair the same think happened with Zimmerman's lawyers, but I suspect most of it was Zimmerman not being very forthcoming about any potential skeletons.

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
George Orwell

Have you read Animal Farm, 1984, or any of his other works? One of the better writers working in the English language.

I'm hoping that it rain keeps them away. Maybe it will end the protests for a while.

I don't get what you're saying..........if he had waited for back up, MB would have been pursued for "assaulting an officer" *allegedly*, and any ensuing response by backup would have been in accordance to MB's response when confronted by backup.

LE responds with deadly force when deadly force is deemed. Does an unarmed man warrant to be shot 6 times? And no one REALLY knows the facts on whether MB was surrendering or advancing.

We still don't have the FACTS as to what REALLY took place, every article since the shooting happened adds or subtracts info that claims to be accurate.

First we have Wilson doing a road clear for a "Health Check".
Then Wilson is looking for the men in the BOLO.
Then it's "Health Check" and heard BOLO after the initial stop.
Then it's "Health Check" and subjects continued in the middle of the road.

Subjects had the LE door slammed into them.
Subject approached door.

Subject was grabbed by LE.
LE grabbed subject.

Do we know if the shot fired in the vehicle hit MB? Or are we even sure the firearm WAS discharged in the vehicle?

And no one has seen Wilson's incident report. Why? Why, if this is such a cut a dry, MB was "advancing" in a threatening manner, has it not surfaced? Is it because it has to be carefully tailored to fit eyewitness statements?

My hinky meter is on. Something stinks in Denmark.
I'm sure the evidence will tell all of us who weren't there...that's what I'm waiting on. What seems clear to one...may not seem so clear to another. People are pulling from their own beliefs and/or agenda...I'm waiting on the evidence!

This thing is about to reach a national flashpoint IMO.

Based in truth or in lies, the original narrative of this case has become a symbol of things that have gone far too long unaddressed in this country. also JMO

I am afraid this is going to get very very ugly on a national level, no matter the outcome of the investigation, no matter if charges are laid or not, something has been put in motion and I fear greatly that it is far too late to stop it or delay it. No matter what happens this will have serious, deadly and continuing repercussions for some time to come.

Haha, "Officer go F*** Yourself"
CNN showing video clip of officer pointing a gun at reporters (last night I believe). Reporter enraged by gun pointed at him and asks for the officer's name. Officer responds: "Go f*** yourself" So reporter says, thank you, Officer Go F*** Yourself"

Oh dear...

At a recent presser, Capt Johns*n eloquently asked for the media's cooperation and restraint due to interfering with some police actions necessary to confiscate bullets from a car where there was a shooting into an apartment complex. He has asked the media to take a responsible approach and utilize appropriate behavior. He has asked that they remain in the safe "green" zone because it is difficult to protect them if things become violent.

Not all of the media/journalists are wearing the "Press" designation attire. It is difficult to determine who is friend or foe in a public protest that seems to become mob like every night. The police have a volatile situation at hand, are weary from this, hungry, tired, and frankly are getting burnt. They are probably very frustrated and saddened too---after all, it is tough to be decent human being and have people hating you. They are human too.

Botton line: for the officers it is impossible to tell who is going to do the next crazy move. They have to be on guard right now.

Maybe some of the Press want to antagonize the police so they can "sell" the story to the media. Everybody wants their 5 minutes of fame.

The media and paid agitators want this to get ugly fast.

Fox News has chosen the wrong protest guy to interview. He is clueless.

The officer was not from Ferguson and Cpt Ron Johnson said he has been removed from security duty in Ferguson.

Honestly, I find that to be non-violent flippancy. And pretty quick witted since the journalist had broken no laws and should not have been spoken to with that language anyway. Seriously?

The "Go Eff Yourself" part? Well, obnoxious. And pretty funny to have it turned around on him.

Lucky for the journalist there wasn't a black jack to the back of his head for being "mouthy".

Thank GOD.

There was discussion about waiting for back-up, thought I would share this. This jury started deliberations today in the murder case of 25 y/o Lakeland Police Office Arnulfo Crispin. Hopefully he will get the DP. jmo

On the night he was killed, Lakeland Police say Officer Crispin stopped to check in on three suspicious people in the area of Crystal Grove.
He radioed in his location at around 10:15 p.m. When back-up arrived about seven minutes later, officers found Crispin unresponsive with a gunshot wound.

Last night I could have sworn one dude was shouting, "No chest hair! No pee!" (Maybe I need to take the "rubber bullets" out of my ears).
