Can we just all agree that there has been no official release on the injuries of the officer, just that he was treated at the hospital and released? None of the links were from LE and basically are to be considered rumors.

I feel a majority of people aren't savvy when it comes to certain aspects of the laws.

I wasn't until I started following cases here. I've learned a ton and continue to every day.

We have the best of the best here! :loveyou:

Agree with this completely. Most people are completely unaware how the system works. Episodes of CSI and Law & Order aren't representative of how it all works.

Eta: that congress women threatening more riots if the DA doesn't step down on megyn Kelly right now.

Etta: oh lawd...Nasheed said, DA isn't representative of the black community. Megyn said but he was voted in 4x and the last time he won the election against a black woman opponent.

Her response: she just keeps saying "he doesn't represent the black community."

Been mainly lurking due to the highly charged emotional comments as of late.. and my observation that I've never got into trouble with my mouth closed and my ears open...
Although my career was in public safety for twenty five years, it was not as a law enforcement officer, but as an Atlanta firefighter. Retiring as Captain, I had the opportunity of working along side LEOs in all economic, social, and cultural areas of the city, as well as in many different circumstances, tragedies, and hazardous environments.
My observation of law enforcement officers were that the overwhelming majority of them were fair and honorable public servants that conducted their duties in a very professional manner..

Imo, from info known, Ferguson Police officer Darren Wilson, is an honest, honorable, and professional LEO who is being unjustly persecuted... JMO

I doubt DW had the leverage advantage to pull MB into SUV. MB's attorney states there was a scuffle inside vehicle.

Maybe the struggle was because the officer had the gun in MB's face and MB grabbed it to avoid getting shot in the head?? The question isn't just "did Wilson kill MB with malicious intent?"... (Although that is entirely possible) but the question could also be "did Wilson follow proper procedures, did he warn MB to back off, did he tell him to get on his knees with hands over his head... There are a lot of possibilities that could have made this an unjust killing that many folks are forgetting or ignoring.

ALSO, they lied about the fracture... I can definitely see this "punch" being false as well... Heck the whole bruising could be false or greatly exaggerated ... Again. We just don't know... And vilifying a kid before an investigation is complete is premature to say the least.

Are you verified?

Yes. If you're going to stick around for future cases we LOVE verified medical and legal members.:happydance:

And verified locals! We love them too :loveyou:

That's kind of funny since yesterday there was also a source saying there was a broken eye socket. I wonder if Gateway Pundit retracted what their source said yesterday. I checked earlier and they had not.

IMO doesn't really matter. We do know his face was swollen, I doubt he was stung by a bee during the chaos.

Oh wow. I missed that tidbit.

I think Mr. Johnson has watched too many movies.

Can you imagine if he tries to testifies? Good heavens, they'll eat him alive on the stand

For the love of God! Why can't people just tell the freaking truth???!! Why is that so hard??!! :gaah:

Kelly File just reported DJ was arrested 3yrs ago for theft he lied said name Derrick and he was 16 yet he was 19 and had failed to appear to court.

Because they have an agenda, and I believe that this is a case of prejudice against the LEO. Here's the deal; this incident had nothing to do with race, nothing.

Then many people deliberately made it about race...Sharpton et al., the family, supporters of the family and the largely black community. IMO.

Very good sluthing ---who put that out defense casue you are correct:
CT with contiguous thin axial and coronal sections should be ordered to confirm the diagnosis and plan for treatment (See Figure 1A). - See more at: http://www.revophth.com/content/d/plastic_pointers/i/1203/c/22686/#sthash.isMeYbbd.dpuf

Here they come...was wondering where the chanting was.

...Or disproved by many videos that could have been recording the incident.

This cop is not an idiot. He would never say his gun went off first in the car if it was not true. He would KNOW that could be easily corroborated forensically, imo.

So now people are saying Don Lemon said an X-ray did not show the fracture but he did not mention a CT scan:)

Ahhh, I see what he's doing there

BBM
Because Wilson looks to me like he is pacing back and forth trying to figure out what the hell just happened, if he had sustained a blowout fracture his face would be covered in blood and he would be on his hands and knees in pain and would stay in extreme pain until he got to hospital and was administered strong pain meds

Google Rob Ray and Tony Twist fight...Ray had multiple orbital and cheek fractures, he left the ice to the penalty box looking like he got poked in the eye. A simple orbital fracture might only result in some swelling, exactly what the STL County police chief described. Swelling would be difficult to ascertain in that video.

Are you saying that you believe Dorian's account of what happened?
I'm not trying to cause trouble and I am asking my question, kindly and with respect.

No I am not saying that at all... I am saying we cant believe anything any of these people (including those lying to support Wilson) are saying. I don't understand how folks can't see what is happening here. Each "side" is releasing something consistently everyday, numerous times a day, to support their narrative. Until the next day, when what was said the day before turns out to be either greatly exaggerated or outright lies.
It is a game now, and we the public are being duped. I have faith though that 40 FBI agents will be able to get to the real truth out of this. In fact I think the biggest joke so far is that Holder has already seemed to have convicted Wilson. That sure isn't right. He deserves a fair trial, or maybe the evidence they have is so clear that he won't even be indicted.... But I sure don't see any of that thus far.

This statement is exactly what this is all about. Everyone's experience is different . Some have had family members and themselves suffer lifetimes of harassment by police. While others have family who are police and know them as good people and heroes even and they are scared for their lives every time they walk out the door to work.
How can we we bridge these contrasting differences... How can we feel compassion for both of these contrasting stories. Because they are both true..... And right now it is true, true as can be, that officer Wilson is respectable cop and wonderful person... And it is also true about MB the "friendly giant" we all heard about the first couple days ... Both of these stories are true to those close to these two different people. Why can't we just have compassion for both sides and wait for the truth to come out. If we have learned anything about this whole mess it is that people are willing to lie with conviction for what they believe in.
I say wait for the truth before you judge.

The strong arm robbery video made a huge impression on me and totally blew the "gentle giant" narrative out of the water.

The fact it occurred mere minutes before his confrontation with officer Wilson shows me Browns state of mind.

The witnesses and the Brown family attorney describing MORE than a TUSSLE at the vehicle.

I'm judging.
It was a justifiable shoot.

All IMO

Ok I got ya... You didn't mean they are not savvy, you mean everybody isn't savvy...it's a human problem.

Honestly, do you think if this were over just one isolated incident, that people would be this upset, to the extent of protesting all these days? What is there to gain for them? Why would people be this angry over just one isolated incident??

Can anyone just acknowledge even the possibility that these people of Ferguson have focused on MBs case simply because it was the last straw??

Oh yes! I definitely believe something was festing in Ferguson and the shooting of MB brought it to a head. Absolutely.
