Just from reading comments on the SGF police FB page, the LE command center is set up far from where Hailey disappeared. Speculation that the suspect may be talking and giving LE an area to search for Hailey? Oh God.

That is really disturbing. His last victim was 9 years old and he only registered in December. So he has a specific victim age he prefers.

From reading the SGF police FB page I learned the time the child's abduction was called in was 4:48 pm. Hailey's been missing approx. a little over 13 1/2 hrs. I hope she's ok, she must be frightened..... :'''(

I was born and raised in Springfield, MO. My entire family still lives there. I'm pretty familiar with the area Hailey was taken from. Growing up it was all farmland. It's a young neighborhood that has sprung up in the last 15-20.yrs. There's still a lot of open space though, fields, little wooded areas and it's close to Chestnut Exp and Kansas Exp which are both quick routes to I-44 and Hwy 65. I'm curious as to why the command center is/was at National and Bennett. That's really quite a ways from the abduction scene. and is located practically in the middle of Springfield proper, close to MSU, very populated and bordering on some of the nicest residential areas in Springfield. It's not a location where you would leave a body-assuming that's why they set up there. Hopefully, they selected that location because it's centrally located. As bad as this is sounding really hoping Hailey is found safe.
