Good eye! I had noticed that also. But that "looks like a Ford truck" is actually THE truck. The image date is May, 2012. The screencap (below) is blurred a bit, but doing some angles on the original Google street view showed it is the same truck that CMW drove as i could 'juuuust' make out the ending 454 on the license tag.
Tho it would be labor/time intensive, I would think it might be a good idea to cover as much acreage on that farm property as possible, with an in-line array of ground penetrating radar units. This will show any graves, 'previously disturbed' soil, or underground diggings/objects.

The link above mentions that friends said he helped his parents with chores at the farm frequently; showed fox trotters in a 2007 competition. So we know (even without the google photo) that he was frequently at the farm. But I'd think they'd need cause (eg. a missing or unsolved from the area) to go looking with probes, unless the parents themselves invited that. And so far, no hits...
True. I just found it a tad coincidental that the same truck was at the farm on that 2012 day when the Google Street View Cam-van drove by and captured the shot, as viewed today. I'm not certain of what level of probable cause they would need to search that farm, but you are right, and a certain threshold of p/c would be needed. However, it seems the Springfield area has an abundance of missing/unsolved... past, present, and I'm sure future. (sadly)
Perhaps LE will be able to connect the photos or videos to that house. Hopefully, they are aware. And, I hope they are looking into all MP cases within the Springfield area.
Police spokeswoman Lisa Cox said there is no indication that Wood is a suspect in any other violent crime involving children.

Is there a past?
Only 10 percent of child abduction killers are older than 40, according to the Justice Department study.
So it’s no wonder that police agencies in southwest Missouri wonder if there’s anything else in Wood’s past.
In the hours after Wood’s arrest, Springfield-area police agencies began checking files to see if his name popped up in other investigations or if there were any similar unsolved cases.
“That’s one of the first things I checked, to see if we had anything,” said Ash Grove Cpl. Jacob Marler. “Any prior contacts? But nothing. Cold cases of ours with him as a suspect? No we do not.”
In the 2006 study, almost half of the child killers analyzed had a substantial history of crimes against children before they killed their victim.
Experts say investigators will try to learn if there is something in Wood’s background that hasn’t been revealed yet. They likely will construct a timeline of his activities starting in his teen years, in part to see where he has traveled.

They are singing "This Little Light of Mine" After watching Hailey's mom, I am sure her faith will get her through this horrible event. No doubt, this hymn will carry her through the darkest days.
Kathleen Turner and also Brad Pitt were from there, too.All I know about the town is that I believe John Goodman called it home before going into acting.
