Nov 7, 2025 article

[…]

Police in Harrisburg, Arkansas said a ping of a cell phone of a person possibly involved in an abduction in Missouri led officers to the stolen vehicle at a Sonic Drive-In parking lot and to later finding Patrick.

Jennings was not inside the stolen vehicle and has not been seen.

Interesting comments. Allegedly the person that called police for the stolen vehicle is also in jail as well as the person that stole the vehicle… weird MOO

The man driving the stolen vehicle was someone she was "possibly with" and (with implies to me, willingly) and he has not been charged in any abduction, so I'm not sure what "abduction" the article is talking about. I'm thinking she may have been with him, perhaps not knowing the car was stolen, and took off when police got involved. (which would mean, she's hopefully safe, just perhaps not wanting to implicate anyone in what happened, if this guy was a friend of hers).

Hayti Police say they can not comment at this time if the stolen vehicle and the missing woman are connected.

In doing a rough timeline - Hayti MO police investigated the report of the stolen vehicle and missing person on Nov. 4th. That afternoon they were informed by the Arkansas Poinsett County Sheriff's Department that they (Arkansas Sheriff) had located the vehicle and had the suspect, who was named as such in the msm article below but would not state whether the stolen vehicle and the missing woman are connected. LE did state Kaniah had been with the suspect prior to her being reported missing.

So the suspect would have been apprehended sometime on Nov 4th or prior. in Arkansas.

In looking at the Poinsett Sheriff's Department Inmate roster, I didn't see someone that's an active inmate in their facility booked on the 4th under ANY name. There were a few bookings in the days just prior to that but none specifically related to auto theft. Inmate Roster | Poinsett County Sheriff AR | Sort Booking Time - Descending | Page 2 BUT if you look under "released" inmates there's a Nov. 4th booking of a male "theft by receiving". (I'm not listing their name or booking number as they have not been named as a suspect in her disappearance only the auto theft). If you look in the MiCourt System in Missouri, there are related charges for a person of the same age and description the following day for:
Tampering With Motor Vehicle - 1st Degree
{ Felony D RSMo: 569.080 }Date11/04/2025Code569.080-002Y20202999.0

{ Felony D RSMo: 570.030 }Date11/04/2025Code570.030-037Y20202399.0

They remain in custody.

The Harrisburg Police Department said in a Facebook post that there is no evidence indicating that Miss Jennings was ever in Harrisburg. However, the department remains committed to assisting in any way possible.

The group is meeting in Hayti in the morning to travel to either Harrisburg or Lepanto to search for Kamiah, if you have any information or have seen her, call the Missouri State High Patrol at (573) 840-9500

We won't update the thread title until / unless charges are directly related to Kaniah's disappearance.

Looks like that could be in the cards, so just let us know if / when that happens.

Thanks !!

On Saturday, the Pemiscot County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged three suspects in Jennings’ disappearance and death:
  • Keenan Peoples, 34 of Hayti, Missouri with first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape and tampering with physical evidence.
  • Donald Peoples Jr., 38, of Caruthersville, Missouri with first-degree accessory to murder and tampering with physical evidence.
  • Blake Patrick, 18 of East Prairie, Missouri with first-degree accessory to murder, first-degree kidnapping and first-degree rape.

How did this happen to Kaniah? Did she know these monsters?
