No no no no no :banghead:This is every parent's WORST nightmare. Babies are supposed to be safe and snuggled into their beds at night.
Is it too much to hope that the person who took her was desperate for a baby, and is treating the child lovingly, until they are eventually found out? That's the scenario I'm praying for. I can't entertain any other thoughts.

A woman who lives in the area where police believe a 10-month-old child was abducted, sparking an AMBER Alert , says her husband saw a man carrying a baby early Tuesday morning, but didn’t think anything of it. Lisa Parscale says her husband was coming home around 12 a.m. Tuesday when he saw the man carrying a baby wearing only a diaper.
“He seen the guy act like he was going to go into a residence,” Parscale said, “but then my husband drove off so we’re thinking that maybe he was just doing that so that my husband would leave.”
Parscale says her husband saw the man walking on a street perpendicular to North Lister, where Lisa Irwin lives with her parents and brothers.

Wow. That's odd as heck!

A man? Walking? Where did the clothing go?

Thanks IDA! So then my next question is...is Lisa's father the man that lices in this house with Lisa's mother and the 2 boys? Or is her father someone who lives outside of the home?

Sorry I don't have a link, but there was an article that said something to the effect that the FBI was involved because Lisa lived with both her mother and father.
I guess that makes it more likely that it was a stranger abduction. moo

IF true about the man walking with a baby, sounds like a very disorganized type of abductor...without a vehicle or parked very far away? Maybe someone with mental issues? Doesn't really make sense to me...

Hugely unlikely, but the house is only about 18 miles from Kansas City International Airport. Hope they checked flights.

If a man was seen walking with her then he must live close by.

The street perpendicular - does that go anywhere near a hotel/motel?

So many possibilities!! If this was the guy, 1) He had parked somewhere nearby, but far enough away so the car wouldn't be noticed. 2) He was being picked up by someone else. 3) He wasn't being picked up, but was walking somewhere - I'd think that he'd have to be walking somewhere relatively close if this was the case.

If she was in only a diaper, though, where are her clothes??? He would have walked from her house to where ever he was spotted, so that's not a huge area. It seems that the dogs could track her scent to those clothes...

If a perp took her, I would have to believe that 1) He/she would have a car parked very close by and 2)He/she would not take off her clothes while abducting her.

So this walking and baby in diaper doesn't make much sense to me if it is related.

FWIW, I had a colicky little bub and would take him outside at all hours of the night because it was the ONLY thing that soothed him. I am gonna hope perhaps this is what it was.

What were the temps last night?

If the abductor thought to remove the clothing to avoid detection, chances are he didn't put the clothes in his pocket. When he removed the clothing, would any of his DNA been left on the clothing?
