First time poster here! (hope im doing this right) I just wanted to say that I find it totally normal for all the lights to b on. When my husband is gone and it's dark, I literally have on every light in the house. He gets mad about it, but it makes me feel a little more secure. Also, there have been several times that I have either woken up and unlocked the door or left it unlocked for him so that he wouldn't wake anyone by knocking or by fumbling at the door and alerting the dogs (which would also wake the whole house). Just sayin'. I don't see it as suspicious or odd.

Welcome! Many of here would agree with you BUT mom has denied leaving the lights on so either the perp turned them on or one of the kids got up and did it (and hasn't admitted to it/doesn't remember doing it).

Nothing has been reported in MSM that I could find, however, this picture that was taken on Wednesday looks to me like it is a laptop that is being carried out of the home by FBI.

If the laptop came from the home, wouldn't it be in an evidence bag of some sort?

The comment about a neighbor hearing and reporting screams was one comment on one article very early in the case (perhaps the first day). To the best of my knowledge it was never reported on by MSM nor was it ever verified. The comment was even wrote second or third hand. I remember reading it after it was reported back here but I never gave much thought to it because it ended there with the reporter (?) asking the writer to have his/her friend contact them.

That does look like a laptop but if it is evidence it would appear they are being rather careless with it. Does the CSI team use a laptop to log evidence in as they collect it?

I would call that the property of the FBI (laptop) ? is what's in the brown paper bags.

Does anyone know if the computer from the home was seized?

I'd also like to hear the dad's 911 call.

Surely LE took the computer if they think the family is in anyway involved they would be remiss not to.

Oh how I wish KS had a Sunshine Law!

Good thought, what about a TV on, I sleep very light but with a tv...you turn it off, I will jump right out of bed!

Another thing around that thought, when my husband is out of town I often sleep with the TV or radio on, for comfort. Being this was his first night of working that shift, the mom might have done the same thing.

In Da Middle, any thoughts/insight into the handyman angle we are now hearing about?

Not sure .... my take on it was that it looked like the laptop was probably in an "open" position and FBI may have decided to leave it in that position instead of closing it. Some laptops simply shut down when you close the lid and they may have wanted to preserve the exact webpage that was showing when they took the laptop hence they didn't close it to put it in an evidence bag.

NOTE: This is pure and utter conjecture/speculation on my part and NOT known as fact.

I think the evidence on a laptop would be inside (as in hard drive) and not on the outside.

The picture of Lisa at the computer desk had a pull out keyboard drawer so I believe they had a desk top computer.

I have been looking for a link that has mom denying that she left the lights on.Or saying that she turned the lights off. Do you happen to have one ? Thank you very much in advance...MOO

I suppose there is an argument to be made she left the two boys and took lisa's body somewhere, but it makes no sense to me. Not with a dumpster fire, two possible outside perps (neighbor and handyman) and someone we may not have heard of yet.

Just the idea that she killed Lisa that first night dad works is to hinky for me. If there were signs of abuse or neglect then yeah it could make sense but otherwise..I doubt she would calmly sleep with her son after doing all that too and the chance of son waking up is huge.

eta if she was in and out and he was in her bed.

Quoting myself to explain that I firmly believe if she was responsible, it was a sudden act/snapping/accident and therefore would not be planned enough for her to get it together to this extent.

They could have both...
