AND it was the first time that her husband was away all night for work. What a strange night for her NOT to lock the door, the first night her husband is away from the house. Hinky, imo.

Maybe the fact that he wasn't home to help with dinner, homework, baths, etc. led to her forgetting to lock the door. She may have just forgotten to check it because she was very busy and probably not used to having to run the household routine alone at night.

I have forgotten to lock my front door more than once due to various reasons when I was a single parent to 3 young kids. I'm not proud of it, and I do consider it carelessness on my part. But it does not make me a criminal. I was tired and overworked, and maybe she was the same.

Also why is that window blacked out with duct tape and what looks like black garbage bags?

I'm not sure about the plastic, but I'm with ya on the bedding... seems odd it wasn't taken for DNA purposes.

Deborah said herself on a video today that she had been told she failed the polygraph.

Parents have signed on with Fox news and won't talk to local reporters anymore.

I think that's a crossover from the Aliayah case. No twins for DB that anyone is aware of. Aliayah's mom, yes.

Jumping off of your post-It is like concentric circles. LE starts with those closest and works their way out. If they cannot clear those closest, it makes it hard for them to move on. Marc Klaas is a great example of how you do it-he demanded the poly so LE did not waste time on him.

It looks like this jurisdiction has a lot to work with and that they are investigating other avenues while trying to clear family....that takes a lot of resources and little lady is surely worth the effort.

I agree with your post 100%. What I find interesting is LE stating that the family is no longer cooperating with them. The family is stating the opposite. Either LE is trying to put public pressure on Deborah & Jeremy to get something out of them, or Deb & Jeremy are being less than truthful about their cooperation. MOO.

An idea about the window - cheap blackout curtains? If they're trying to keep the room dark so that Lisa would adapt to a different sleep schedule more compatible with the family, blocking out the sunlight would help with that. I personally would have used real, lined curtains, but black bags would technically work just as well.

Wow, this is moving to fast for me, got an all day soccer tourney tomorrow, so you folks keep up with this!! Hopefully, when I drag my weary body in tomorrow night around 9pm, we'll have good news. If the parent(s) did get rid of the phones, did not they not realize that phone records can be obtained???? Weird.

Yes...but the FBI does not automatically go to every kidnapping no matter how tender of years the child is. I'm just wondering what the reason is that they were brought in. Feds don't have the money or manpower to just go anywhere they want. As well, LE are very protective of their jurisdictions and I just would love to know the reasoning behind it.

Evidently the picture posted of the crib is after she went missing as it looks exactly the same in an ABC video with the news reporter in front of it, stuff still piled in it. Windows are blacked out with black plastic. Isn't that what is done when investigaters light scan the room for blood?

This video also pans the room showing dresser draws stacked up together against one wall and neatly organized closet of beautiful outfits. Lots of pink, Lisa really was a very pampered princess.

I'm not sure how much of this is allowed here, so mods feel free to edit, but Debbie's father David has posted several times on the FB page and has answered some questions from some people. You can find the comments under the link that states parents are no longer speaking to local media.

He was asked about the 2:30 text and he said he wasn't sure, that even he doesn't know everything.

He sounds like a nice, well spoken man, and my heart breaks for him. You can tell he loves this baby so much. I have a sick feeling he might be in for the shock of his life when we get to the ending of this.

I really want to ask him why the parents and family haven't been putting up posters everywhere if they think she is kidnapped...but I don't want my real name there. LOL Who's brave enough to do it????

I have the same question. I would have thought they would take the entire crib, or at least the bedding to look for fibers or hairs or prints. That surprises me.

The Police will cover the windows like that when they do their forensic testing. And to keep high powered lenses from being able to capture pictures of what they are doing. I can recall LE doing this in several cases I have followed.

Young stated pretty clearly today that the family has not spoken with LE since they decided not to do so sometime yesterday and that they (LE) are eager to speak with the parents...so not sure what parents' definition of cooperating is.
