I think the updates to the timeline are a good place to start. Shelby :yourock:

Thanks I'll look there. And come back with questions.

The Police will cover the windows like that when they do their forensic testing. And to keep high powered lenses from being able to capture pictures of what they are doing. I can recall LE doing this in several cases I have followed.

Yes...was just going to say that the window would have been covered to possibly protect the room from fingerprint dust, which is quite messy.

I agree with your post 100%. What I find interesting is LE stating that the family is no longer cooperating with them. The family is stating the opposite. Either LE is trying to put public pressure on Deborah & Jeremy to get something out of them, or Deb & Jeremy are being less than truthful about their cooperation. MOO.

Kinda like your child's teacher in school and you. As long as your child keeps you apart he/she can tell the other one anything. Master manipulators those little stinkers can be...speaking from experience.

Police may have put that stuff there. As someone upthread noted, the dresser drawers are all stacked up, too.

I agree.

It doesn't explain the crib mattress height, though, IMO - especially for a baby of Lisa's height.

My granddaughter is 11 months old, and not nearly as tall as Lisa, and my granddaughter's crib mattress is already on the lowest rung.

OMG. I'm never going to catch up! I finally got to the last page of the previous thread thinking, "Whew. I made it!" Then I found out that the last post was the link to the new thread! Nooooooo!

How dare real life get in the way, huh?:floorlaugh:

It says it can, but that doesn't mean to me that they automatically go on every case. Do you get what I'm saying?

I'm thinking an infant abduction right out of her home would probably qualify as a special case. Special enough to bring in the FBI, I mean.

BBM

I have the same question. I would have thought they would take the entire crib, or at least the bedding to look for fibers or hairs or prints. That surprises me.

And now the scene is contaminated:banghead:
If I were Jeremy & Deb I would be demanding that the bed and bedding be bagged and tested immediately! I just simply cannot believe it wasn't done already.

If you go to the National Center of Missing Children's website, you will see that there are far too many missing children for the FBI to go to every one of them. Children go missing every day. This is a clue to me that there is something else up with LE for them to be there.

From the video linked below @ about 4:00:

Debbie B's Aunt confirmed to the reporter that mother failed a LDT yesterday. She says couple has not hired lawyer.

LE disputes that. Police say they can no longer question Debbie B because she has a lawyer.

A relative acting as spokesperson for the couple says Jeremy I spoke to police on a couple of occasions today, but police claim that's also not true.

The FBI has a special unit, CARD child abduction is their speciality...they are top notch... MOO

Does anyone know what kind of vehicles the family drives?

Extra incentive in this case is the fact that only the river separates KS and MO (even though interstate transport doesn't have to be a consideration), and FBI agents in both cities I'm sure are used to coordinating activities in active cases.

I've noticed in the past that if a crime is anywhere close to a state border, the FBI might very possibly have boots on the ground there.

Maybe it was. They could have replaced the bedding after LE left with the original stuff. Impossible to know at this point but they took 2 large bags away.

Yes...but the FBI does not automatically go to every kidnapping no matter how tender of years the child is. I'm just wondering what the reason is that they were brought in. Feds don't have the money or manpower to just go anywhere they want. As well, LE are very protective of their jurisdictions and I just would love to know the reasoning behind it.

Now that you mention it I think they've been involved in a lot of cases recently. Then there are those that I wish they'd been involved in from the get go.

I think Shelby's timeline is posted on the 1st thread and is really up to date.

Deborah said herself on a video today that she had been told she failed the polygraph.

Parents have signed on with Fox news and won't talk to local reporters anymore.

to be continued

I can't find anything about the Fox news exclusive, and isn't Nightline on ABC?

I'm confused now. So the police did leak it? That's one helluva unprofessional PD, if so.

"sources close to LE" could be :

An officer's spouse/ girlfriend/boyfriend who overhears a phone call.

A civillian employee of the police dept. ( secretary, dispatcher, file clerk)

A retired officer who still hangs out with current officers.

Any employee of the DA office who might overhear or see paperwork.
