Thanks to all the posters who helped straighten out my mistake of mentioning twins in this thread when I thought I was in the Aliayah Lunsford thread. I went back and edited my post but it had already spread like wildfire on this thread.
Again, I just want to say there are NO TWINS expected in this case.

I just really do not know what to think.

Stranger Abduction:
It is just too coincidental that a stranger would happen upon this home the FIRST night the husband is gone and the FIRST time that Mom forgot to lock the front door. I do not believe it was a stranger abduction. imoo

Acquaintance Abduction:
More probable I suppose. Scary thought. But the 3 cell phones being stolen seem strange. But I suppose it is possible they were taken to slow down the 911 calls.
Maybe it was connected to an angry ex. There are a lot of them I suppose in mixed families these days.

Accidental injury:

I do not think it is possible to keep that secret from the older boys. They would have heard it if she had fallen from the crib or OD'ed accidentally, imo.

Same thing with child abuse. I think the 10 yr old would know about it.

Ok, I have been on these parents side all the way so far, but this video concerns me.
1. crib mattress height
2. stuff in crib/looks like outgrown items, but why and when was it put there?
3. plastic and duct tape over window in reach of baby/unless it is from damaged window?
4. cords
5. drawers stacked/where is the dresser? how do you keep a 10 mth old from tossing this stuff?
6. shoes against wall like older child/again, how do you keep a 10 mth old from tossing and losing?
7. baby swing/isn't she too big for this?
I could probably put more but i'm behind and it may have been discussed already.

This doesn't look like a room that a 10 mth old currently uses? How was Lisa in here?

LE often trashes the house while CSI'ing it.

I guess I never understood why anyone would admit to failing a polygraph test or being told they failed a poly in the middle of an investigation. I don't get it.

Just watched a 'nat'l media crew' tape a missing poster to a tree, shoot it then take it down. Not ok. Not journalism.

Family statement denied what police are saying, brought focus back to #LisaIrwin, and even thanked PD. Another statement planned tomorrow.

What does latest in #LisaIrwin case mean? PD strategy: pressure parents. At very least, KCPD thinks parents not as forthcoming as possible.

I think "media deal" is kind of misleading. I think when LE started saying they were not willing to cooperate anymore, the local media jumped on it and it became very nefarious in their area. I think they feel like the national media is more fair to them. I heard the mother say a couple time that she doesn't care what people say, she just wants her baby home but she feels like they are not going to look anywhere but at her. Maybe she feels like the national media will look at other suspects beside her. Not everyone
is savvy about LE or media. If these parents aren't involved (and I am totally on the fence), what a horrible nightmare on top of your baby being missing.

Its not that coincidental if someone was watching the house.

It was reported by the AP today that all of the people whose names were given by the parents as possible suspects have been checked out and cleared, and one would think that any angry/disgruntled exes, etc were on the list...in fact they gave up to a dozen, last we heard, so that should cover any strange relatives as well, IMO.

I guess I never understood why anyone would admit to failing a polygraph test or being told they failed a poly in the middle of an investigation. I don't get it.

I'm afraid that: she's only 25 years old, doesn't have an attorney, and is under the naive line of thinking that if you're innocent then you've got nothing to hide.

With regard to the baby swing...they could very well still be using it. Our weight limit on the swing was 30lb. Even though she is a big baby, she is still a baby and likely was still soothed by swinging, if that was her thing. I know my children very much still loved to swing at that age.

my guess, Grandmaj is that they have guilt and fear and cannot help but talk about it also maybe they want to learn what LE actually has on them. A way to prod LE to divulge something they have.

Is Deborah pregnant? Why do they still have a baby tub that probably hasn't been used in months? I'm just trying to figure out why there is stuff in the crib.

Why is there black plastic over the window in her room?

Luminol?

Wow, I missed that. Do you have the link? I'm looking but don't see it yet. One wouldn't think LE has had the time to clear everyone listed in a thorough manner. In fact, in thinking about it, I'm a bit dubious that they could. Okay, off to find link!

I'll say one thing...if these parents are innocent, the person who abducted this baby must be breathing a sigh of relief.

On the big baby thing....

My oldest technically didn't exist! She was off the charts tall and heavy. She is now almost 6ft tall. Younger one not quite as much but still top of the charts. They were both sitting unassisted at 4 months and walking at 9 months! Got teeth late though. One was walking before the teeth erupted! Funny sight to be had - here's Gumby comming at ya!

My youngest was the same as yours. He was so heavy that we all feared he would be really late walking but he was walking at 10 months (with no teeth and didn't loose his first until 2nd grade). Husband and I were talking last night after I read a post on here (re: baby couldn't possibly have climbed out of crib) and somewhere between 9 and 10 months B could easily escape his crib and playpen. He would lean his upper body over the top and then flip, hang & drop. not that I think baby L just climbed out and wandered off but an accident(broken neck?) can't be ruled out.

Its not that coincidental if someone was watching the house.

That is true. But I also read that it is a very 'small' street and neighborhood, and any strangers watching the home would have been noticed.

But I suppose that a weird neighbor or a friend of a neighbor woud be able to sit back safely and watch the comings and goings at the home.

I don't think this is going to turn out to be an angry ex of either of them, although I considered it at one point. There are no shortage of angry exes in the world, and no shortage of violent ones unfortunately, but I've never heard of a case where an angry ex kidnaps the ex's NEW child and just leaves behind their own.
