Its not that coincidental if someone was watching the house.

Or they had a scanner and were listening to the baby monitor. Wonder how many baby monitors they have and what rooms they are used or stored in.

“From the start when they’ve questioned me, once I couldn’t fill in gaps, it turned into ‘You did it, you did it.’ They took a picture down from the table and said, ‘Look at your baby! And do what’s right for her!’ I kept saying I don’t know … I just sat there. I didn’t even ask to leave. I just let them keep asking questions.” http://foxnewsinsider.com/2011/10/07/police-captain-baby-lisa-irwin’s-parents-still-not-cooperating/

Sources are saying that the mother of missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin took a lie detector test and “failed miserably.”

This stuff is all on my timeline, folks.

Thanks for your reply. Now I'm curious what these "gaps" are. Are they major gaps in Debbie's story that don't fit the evidence? Or are they minor issue's that LE used to rattle her to get information out?

Have we heard anything about verifying the Dad was actually at work? I'm sure it's something LE checked out, but they need a witness who saw him at work when he claimed he was there.

I guess I never understood why anyone would admit to failing a polygraph test or being told they failed a poly in the middle of an investigation. I don't get it.

Maybe because it sounds better to admit it yourself before LE makes a big deal about it?

That is true. But I also read that it is a very 'small' street and neighborhood, and any strangers watching the home would have been noticed.

But I suppose that a weird neighbor or a friend of a neighbor woud be able to sit back safely and watch the comings and goings at the home.

Exactly. Plus, if this isn't a first offense, our hypothetical stranger might be quite adept at hiding his stalking activities from the neighbours.

Incidentally, what happened to the early reports of a neighbour seeing a man carrying a baby down the road, does anyone know?

I still believe the difference of opinion between LE and the parents on what cooperating is:

LE wants a confession+Parents refuse to confess=LE saying parents aren't cooperating.

I really do feel that LE has locked into a theory, valid or not, that mom is guilty. And as long as the parents maintain they are innocent, they are not cooperating. JMO.

Yes, it was verified...but I sure don't have a link to it.

You don't have the urgency anymore to search for your baby when your accused by LE of doing something to her I suppose /sarcastic

I'm going to continue to side with the parents until more real facts are known. However... if you gave LE every single detail you could think of and they were checking into everyone, everything... they checked on the cell pings, they talked to neighbors, relatives, weird people you mentioned... everything! And they reported nearly nothing back to you, except to be accusatory, well.. then... where would YOU look? LE and FBI has searched over and over.. you have given all details and LE has investigated, ruled out or not etc, and you dont even know where to start. LE is who would have the answers by that time, even if there were few/no leads, they would know what little was known, so... Again.. where would you look?

I'm not sure how much of this is allowed here, so mods feel free to edit, but Debbie's father David has posted several times on the FB page and has answered some questions from some people. You can find the comments under the link that states parents are no longer speaking to local media.

He was asked about the 2:30 text and he said he wasn't sure, that even he doesn't know everything.

He sounds like a nice, well spoken man, and my heart breaks for him. You can tell he loves this baby so much. I have a sick feeling he might be in for the shock of his life when we get to the ending of this.

I really want to ask him why the parents and family haven't been putting up posters everywhere if they think she is kidnapped...but I don't want my real name there. LOL Who's brave enough to do it???? ;)

FB page is Baby Lisa Irwin Updates

I would do it but I was banned for speculating. My bad I didnt realize what I had done until it was too late. Didnt realize it was a fam support page?
I know I am way behind. Saw an opening to ask if anybody knows if the family is running the page mentioned. If this post is a no no I will delete.

Neither she nor her relative who talked about the gaps/mistakes/conflicts said specifically what they were, that I recall. Just that they caused problems in Mom's LE interviews.

e.g. "When you're tired and worried about your baby, you're bound to make itty bitty mistakes in time lines", Netz said.
"And they have been pouncing in every little, from what I understand, every little mistake that is made".

and

"From the start when they've questioned me, once I couldn't fill in gaps, it turned into 'You did it, you did it,'" Deborah Bradley told "Good Morning America."

cha-ching! $$$$ KMBC is an ABC affiliate

:banghead:

This kind of concerns me. Looking at the court files, JI has a couple of small claims judgments against him that have no satisfaction date on them. One of them appears to be 2010 property taxes. I think it's safe to say if the 2010 taxes are not paid, neither are the 2011 taxes. The other one is not really worth mentioning.

Wow, I missed that. Do you have the link? I'm looking but don't see it yet. One wouldn't think LE has had the time to clear everyone listed in a thorough manner. In fact, in thinking about it, I'm a bit dubious that they could. Okay, off to find link!

It was on AP like 7 hours ago...gone now of course...but I think the dad also said that they were able to verify the alibis of all of those people and he included himself, and said that only his wife's could not be verified. That should be here somewhere :(

1. What happened to ABC News' pledge to never pay for exclusives again? The reporter clearly says "exclusive", and those don't come cheap.

2. Debbie is now saying she put Lisa to bed at 10:30 instead of 7:30, as she initially stated?

No, she isn't. Debbie says she put Lisa to bed at 7.30 and then went to bed herself at 10.30, checking on Lisa before she turned in for the night.

Wow, I can't even keep up with all the posts!! I was gone this afternoon and when I got home ... the posts about this case just exploded.

I drove past the landfill on my way home. Way back when you could see down inside the landfill from 1-435, but now it's got a buffer (berm-type thing) all the way around, except for the entrance.

This is a huge dump. Deffenbaugh controls most, if not all, of the trash in this area that goes into the landfill. I would be willing to bet that Deffenbaugh knows the exact area where specific trash from a specific area was dumped. Due to the volume I would imagine it's crucial for LE to get out there and dig through the area where the trash from where baby Lisa lived was picked up. In very short order, it will be covered with more trash.

Another thing that happened within the last year or so, at least we live, is Deffenbaugh has gone to trash trucks and trash cans that are not lifted and dumped by the driver of the truck, so I don't believe they ever really see the contents, and this would include Dumpsters. They have arms that load the trash cans, and Dumpsters and they lift them up over the top of the truck and dump them in. The most the driver does is slide the trash can on the arms so it can be lifted. They never see the inside of the trash can or the contents. Up the trash can goes, it's flipped, the lid pops open, the contents are dumped, and then the arm lowers it to the ground. Gone are the trash trucks where things are put in the back and and the contents are smooshed back to make room for more trash.

If Lisa was dumped in a dumpster, or even a trash can, and I hate to even think of this, the possibility of a driver seeing her body would be nonexistent, IMO.

And I do believe that Deffenbaugh works on weekends when it comes to picking up commercial Dumpsters. We see trucks all the time. That's how busy this place is. If she was in a Dumpster it would be important to dig though the area where the trash for that part of town was dumped asap.

We call it Trash Mountain here. It used to stink to high heaven. We used have to hold our breath when we drove past the dump. They were forced to put scrubbers on to vent the thing. It's just that big.

The parents have not done an interview for fox.

..but we have heard that they will only deal with Fox locally...

http://www.fox4kc.com/videobeta/?watchId=8e0a42aa-a161-45d0-b274-bca53ec58ee3

Fox4 Kansas City reporter Rob Low: " Phil this was an exclusive interview, the couple gave, we were the only media in Kansas City to speak with parents just moments ago..”

..and when they arrived at the hotel to meet judge jeanineP to tape her show-----everyone not affiliated with Fox, was asked to leave.
http://www.fox4kc.com/news/wdaf-pol...-search-of-baby-lisa-20111007,0,5538504.story
.."nurse Beeme" heard it "live", it's since been edited, but is at the end of the video above..

I don't think we know that anyone is getting paid by media, do we? Is this an assumption due to word "exclusive"?

IF she did fall out of her crib, or get hurt accidentally at home, I cannot see it being kept secret from the older brothers if they were at home. That is a very small house. Boys that age are very nosy and are into everything, hear everything and see everything. Is it true that LE interviewed the brothers?

A child's accidental death staged to look like a kidnapping? Were have I heard that before? If LE did not talk to those boys they dropped the ball big time.
