What was the reason they got new phones? In process of putting in new numbers suggests they didn't transfer syms cards. Did they have phones stolen?

What was Dad's job prior to this "new" job?

Who is Baby Lisa's biological parents? Does anyone know who the myterious white male seen walking with baby?

This was his same job, just different shift time.

Baby Lisa's bioparents are Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, the couple that you keep seeing in interviews.

I don't think I've ever read that she didn't turn off the lights. just that the lights were on when Jeremy came home.

There are two pointed questions that he gave an answer to - many questions he stated he did not know the answer to, but these 2 questions were answered with a no:

1. Was anything else missing from the house. NO, and he follows up with, but if there were I'm not sure I could tell you. But his answer is no at that time.

2. He is later asked if there were indications that an intruder had been in the home. He specifically answers NO, other than the window appearing to be tampered with.

I will note that we do know when the 911 call came in, now that I review the press conference, the call came in right around 4. But what was not known at that time was at what time the father got home from work. Young was asked if they knew, because at that time media had heard that the father arrived at 4, and Young said that that "might be", but he didn't have exact times when people came and went.

I understand that Capt. Young wouldn't know everything that was occurring in the investigation, but at the same time, cell phones being missing from the home is not a trivial finding in this case. AND, at that point, would be their number one chance to try to track down the baby. So, if we were talking about keys being gone, that's another issue. When we're talking about 3 cell phones any of which could be vital tools in tracking the abductor and finding the baby...that's a whole nother ball of wax. That Steve Young didn't know that information yet, when asked in two different ways, is disturbing.

LE can't just log onto someone's cell phone records anytime they want, even to ping their cells requires a subpoena...so it takes a little time. LE reveals very little in an ongoing investigation, as it should be. Most information comes from "a source close to the case" or the parents.

In this video Captain Young says he did know about the missing phone information, it was told to LE the morning of Lisa's reported disappearance, but that those were details he could not get into at this time.

Why are they not spoken about in any media coverage except by mother vaguely?

A similar looking baby has been spotted in California, with a couple.

I see 'similar looking babies" every time I go out to Walmart. There's a baby pic posted on another forum I'm on, that let me tell you, if I didn't know for a fact that I saw that pic posted two weeks ago, if it was a new pic, I'd for sure email it to LE. That baby is an absolute dead ringer for baby Lisa. So many babies are. : (

If I recall correctly, Lisa's parents said the door was left unlocked. I need to look that up, however, just to have a link.

Also, I understand about having a charging station. Our family has 5 iphones, ipod, ipad and 4 computers...so we have lots of charging going on. We also have a home phone....so I don't always have my cell in my bedroom at night. However, if this family does not have a home phone, then not having a cell phone in your room at night makes no sense.

I completely agree. I am also a little hung up on this from a "kidnappers" perspective. If my intent is to steal a baby, am I carrying a bag over my shoulder and think "hey - I should throw these 3 cell phones in it - they might come in handy when I....what?". If I don't have a bag, do put 3 cell phones in my pockets? I know cell phones are not really big but 3 phones in my pocket(s)? why bother? Why run around with them in your pocket if you are carrying a baby somewhere? It just doesn't work for me AT ALL.

Yet that's the scenario in sensational cases like Elizabeth Smart, Polly Klass, and Madelyn McCann. Motive meets opportunity, and it takes just a few seconds. The parents come under suspicion and cops waste a lot of time and ignore leads.

Except in this case they don't appear to have solely focused on the parents. An amber alert went out immediately (an uncommon amber alert with no suspect and no vehicle.) Neighbors were questioned. Dogs were brought in to try to track the baby's movements.

I think something was found that made them focus on family. I don't know if it came from the interviews or if it came from evidence found in the home. But something changed the focus.

And I can't really say they are totally focused on the family at this point. They did interview and take DNA from the teen after all.

Investigators are also looking into reports from the west coast, where a couple was seen with a small child fitting Lisa's description, relative Mike Lerette told ABC affiliate KMBC-TV.

"They're pursuing surveillance tape on a couple with the baby in California," said Lerette.

I voluntarily turned over our cell records when our son was missing. I moved heaven and earth....and LE knew it. I had nothing to hide...and I was on their side.

....and those stolen cell phones are so traceable! It'd be like attaching fireworks to your butt, so everyone could track you.
