New here, just throwing this out there for comment by those more experienced than me with this, but I'm curious if anyone knows if the parents have been having any relationship problems or arguments lately.

Maybe, since they apparently aren't married and Debbie moved to his house a couple years ago, there has been a strain on the relationship and Lisa's abduction could be a ploy to pull the father closer to Debbie? Just wondering if that makes sense.

I mentioned this scenario because the picture of them in the Daily Mail article shows Debbie laying her head on Jeremy's chest and he is standing there with his hands in his pockets NOT comforting her? Does this make sense to you?

We are going down the rabbit hole with the BD party folks. MSM is not following this alleged BD party. The FB is not of one of the players and thus not allowed under our Social Media policy..... Anyone can write anything on FB. FB is considered rumor here. So lets be careful about what is on that FB.

Do you think baby lisa might climb out and interrupt a brazen B&E Grinch stealing Christmas (or DVRs) like Cindy Lou Who? But instead of getting a cup of water and retucked in bed, she gets scooped up or worse, follows the intruder? I don't know how mobile the baby was. Mine could walk at 10 mos, and she is tall.

Just wondering what the mattress height means to you.

I tossed that scenario around in my head too.

They used a baby monitor, so it makes perfect sense that the door was usually closed. Some babies won't sleep with the door open, Lisa may have been one of those.

Closing a baby's bedroom door? Why? How would you hear the child crying if the door was closed? That makes no sense to me at all.

we pull our daughters door almost all the way closed at night after putting her down. she wakes up to every little sound, so it helps her sleep longer/better with the door pulled mostly closed.

personally, i dont like sleeping with doors closed (i feel like im suffocating, lol) but i do close my bedroom door partway (to block out noise as well).

Your interest in your last few posts seems to be in condemning every action taken by the family. Why is that?

Not condemning the family. I really don't have a strong opinion yet on their involvement. I am just curious about all the interest in money and selling their story before the baby has even been found. And the inconsistencies in their stories vs the police. Right now I am about 60%/40% in favor of the parents knowing anything and that is for the reasons I have said. If it weren't for those things I wouldn't be suspicious of them at all.

Money again. I wonder how much of that "trust fund" is for a reward and how much is for the family's living expenses while they "look" for their child?

Eventually someone has to foot the bill. T-shirts, fliers, pins don't pay for themselves, there has to be some front money coming in from somewhere. Actually, a trust fund protects the incoming $$$$ from being mishandled by the parents or anyone else related to the case. I'd be more likely to donate to a trust fund in such a case, particularly if one or both of the parents are suspects, rather than donating directly to them.

Multiple reasons I could consider....keep television or video game noise from waking her, or the kitten from running into the room, or the boys out of the room, or noise of the boys playing from waking her??? I have been around many, many babies in my time, and I have yet to see a 10 month old that could not cry loudly enough to make themselves heard through a door if they were in need of attention. Also, the mom said there was a baby monitor....most of the receivers are quite portable and many even have clips to allow them to be carried on a belt or waistband easily.

Thinking about it, assuming mattress height is as it was when Lisa was put to bed, maybe it's because it's easier to get her out with the mattress at that height. Dad is tall and he and/or mother might be trying to avoid back strain -

We Always close our daughters bedroom door. We live in a small house so if we are downstairs we hear her no matter what. If we are upstairs we have the baby monitor on. When she was very little it was to keep our cat from going into her crib. Now it's more to keep the noise out as my 13 year old is not always the quietest person And I don't want him to wake her.

That reminds me. Who all was at that bday party? They would certainly know the inside layout and other info.

I do not have the link at hand, but will look, the news media all over this case has lead to soooo many news stories it is hard to remember which one contained the statement by Lisa's grandfather. IIRC, he stated the birthday party was at another family member's home. I will do some digging.

Well....there's a certain vitriol in your statements! One would not think, to read them, that the above is the case. But I'll take your word. Interestingly, even though I try and defend the family whenever possible, I too, like you, am about 60/40 regarding family involvement.

If you look on the county assessor site there are a couple of pictures from the back of the house, they've been posted on several of these threads.

I'm not able to get onto the site, they are down to do 2011 taxes.

Would you please provide a link to the posts, I've read almost non-stop for two days and I don't recall the pictures and my search here is not bringing them up. Sorry to be a pain.

That is true. But I also read that it is a very 'small' street and neighborhood, and any strangers watching the home would have been noticed.

But I suppose that a weird neighbor or a friend of a neighbor woud be able to sit back safely and watch the comings and goings at the home.

I have wondering about this same thing today.

From what I saw in one of the earlier video it showed dad getting into a late model, large extended cab truck. If this was his it would be rather noticable. Wonder where he normally parked it? Front yard or back yard or garage?

Could someone had noticed that the truck wasn't there in the middle of the night realizing that this would be the perfect time to strike?

Or maybe thinking no one was home and intended only to rob them? (of course why take the baby if that?)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I can answer this! If the video you are referring to is the one where he is entering the BACK seat of the truck, it is LE's truck. Not sure if KCPD or FBI. This is the truck that they were in when they were going from house to house doing their knock-and-talk. Nice truck with nice dudes!

Not closing a baby's door is a violation of every 4th grade fire safety lesson I ever got, not to mention my teen babysitting classes. Closing the door can be the difference between life and death in a fire.

IOW I always closed my baby's door. :) FWIW

If a crib mattress is too high for the length and agility level of the baby the danger is that the baby will go up, over and down. Death, brain damage etc. One reason some moms leave a mattress up is that it is really tough on the back to dig deep into the crib for a large infant. The stories about this type of injury are just awful, and for the most part, the parents are stunned when it happens.

It was stated by someone who says they are Lisa's grandfather and it is on Facebook - Lisa Irwin Updates
