Mackenna Milhon, 19, was last seen at the & Go on north National and Norton road, near the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on December 20. Milhon was last seen getting into a black vehicle. She has a diagnosed mental illness. She is 5 feet 3 inches, 130 pounds, with red or auburn hair, hazel eyes, light complexion, and has a tattoo "prosper" on her right forearm.

Missing, Endangered Person – MacKenna Y. Milhon

MacKenna is a 19-year-old white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, has Red/Auburn hair, Hazel eyes.

MacKenna was last seen on 12/20/19 at the & Go (Norton/National) at 10 pm. She was seen leaving in a black vehicle, unknown make and model. She has not been seen or heard from since 12/21/19, when she contacted family and stated that she was the victim of a possible assault. Her Family and the Springfield Police Department are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts should call 911 or Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).

This notice was put out to the media early this morning and is being included here for wider dissemination.

MacKenna Milhon age 19 long red hair , green eyes, freckles, 5'3" and aprox 125#, left home with a friend 12/14/19 last communication 12/20/2019, we have not seen or heard from her, has the word Prosper tatood to right forearm, piercings, if seen or knows something please notify authorities. Millennium baby: remembering Mackenna Milhon

Mackenna was the first baby born in Springfield in this millennium. As a result, was featured in the Springfield News-Leader on January 3rd, 2000.

“We always had a birthday celebration for Mackenna on January 1st,” said Mike. “So, what we’re planning on doing tomorrow is we’re all going to go – there was a particular place she liked to go so for her celebration – we’re going to go to that restaurant and have a birthday celebration for Mackenna because if she was here, that would be what she would want to do.”

A good reminder not to trust FB rumors. A man claiming to be Mackenna's father was commenting and saying (paraphrased) she wasn't missing and was fine. Obviously that was untrue. So sorry to her family and friends for their loss.

Her father probably said that based on Mackenna's past history of addiction and running away. It's really sad to read her mother's posts about it from years ago.

Man charged with murder in death of missing Springfield woman

A Springfield man has been charged with murder in connection with the killing of 19-year-old Mackenna Milhon.

Lonnie Williams, 32, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after prosecutors say he stabbed Milhon to death. He is being held in jail without bond.

Milhon was reported missing on Dec. 22, and her body was found Dec. 30 near the intersection of Farm Road 88 and Highway H (Glenstone Avenue) just north of the Springfield city limits.
