I watched a portion of the NBC news show last night and my heart was sad seeing some of the beautiful pictures of Megan. Prayers for her family.

I did a search and found the name of the person who did this too. There are several sites that have outed her and her husband and the business they own. People are also mad that their names were not released by the St. Louis newspapers. I think it is terrible that they could do something like this and keep it secret. Everybody should know who did it. Here is an update from the paper. They are investigating it again but it doesn't sound like they are trying too hard. These people must have some influence some way. I wanted to put the names but I don't know if it is allowed since they have not been charged.

One would think that perhaps the adult perp could at least be charged with manslaughter. Even if the case got tossed out of court I think the DA should try. Attempting to try the case would send a message that such actions are not to be tolerated in society.

I find it highly ironic that bloggers outed her name. Megan did not deserve to be harassed and bullied by an adult -- one that should have known better. :furious: It's bad enough kids bully kids, but an adult bullying a child just makes me lose my lunch.

One of the comments left at that blog, though, is about the other "mom" (LD) and the companies that advertise with her company. Hopefully those companies get lots of mail and stop using her services.

I agree with you, about this being Lori. I just still have a hard time understanding that this woman is actually a mother!

I'm stunned by the callousness of this blog. It wasn't just that this *boy* didn't want to be her friend anymore, but all their communications (including those of a sexual nature) were sent out to everyone at school. That virtually destroyed this girl. She was made into a laughing stock, completely humiliated. It would have been tough for a child without issues to withstand that level of bullying, but a young girl with emotional problems, you might as well handed her a loaded gun.

Being a mother does not always change one who is cruel into a loving person who cares not only for her own children, but the children of others as well. I wish it did. I think if the truth was known, this is not the first person this woman has hurt. I think she has probably done this before but this time had catastrophic effects. How could anyone harrass someone they think already has mental issues and low self esteem? I hope this woman gets punished for this some way.

What an EVIL deed! Mark my words, the negative energy you put out when you wrote this screed *WILL* come back to you, and I hope it is tenfold! What you reap is what you sow!

As for Lori, and every single other person who contributed to that MySpace profile set up to stalk, spy on, harass and hurt Megan? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM WILL GET POETIC/KARMIC JUSTICE, if not Justice in the courts of Man! All the hate and anger they put into their words at the end, all of that *WILL* come back to them. They have generated a lot of anger and outrage Nation, and probably Worldwide, and there are a lot of people who do not wish them any luck. I wish for them to reap the full bounty of the bitter, hateful harvest they planted and I wish for them to know that it is their energy returned.

Maybe, they will be able to recover from the backlash and grow to be good, productive, considerate citizens. Or, maybe they will remain stuck in a cycle of Ego, Greed, Anger, and Hate. I hope some of them at least will be able to find Love and Joy someday, despite the terrible things they have particpated in.
