Found Deceased MO - Nicole Shalee Mallatt, 36, Butler, Bates County, 26 Nov 2019 *endangered*

Good to know she has finally been laid to rest.

I guess no suspects?

@Jewels53
Not that I have heard of. I had seen where she had been identified by the crime labs. Nothing though on suspects. I will let you know if I hear anything. Most of the news I get is from a Butler, MO post on FB Mid-America Live. Butler doesn't have a news-paper anymore. So this is where most of their news comes from.

I haven't heard anything in a long time. That has been several years ago, I don't know if they have listed it as a cold case yet.

Okay - I was just going thru some old cases I have in my "pending" files & was just wondering if there was any news on her or a person of interest. Thanks for taking the time to answer me! :)

The timeline

Nicole disappeared around Thanksgiving time - Nov. 26, 2019.

Searchers found clues days later along a nearby creek, just down the hill from the home Nicole shared with her longtime boyfriend, Brad Shreve, and their four kids.

The home sits off SW County Road 3508 and SW County Road 4647, running along the east side of the property line. The creek cuts through the property north of the home and underneath 4647 road, going into a neighboring bean field.

"That's the location where we found her shoes and backpack," Sheriff Anderson told me.

That's where they also found her phone.

Anderson said her belongings were located along the creek, about 100 yards off 4647 road.

Anderson is leading the investigation. He says they treat death investigations like a homicide, unless proven otherwise.

@Niner this is a very long article let me know If you can read it. Lots of information just not enough to charge anyone. Even the autopsy is inclusive cause there just wasn't enough evidence left.
