About a block ahead of the crowd, young Nigel, doing what young boys do, darted across the street when his mother and grandmother yelled at him to wait. Koran said the grandmother nearly cried when she saw the photo.

October 22nd - National Day of Action called against police brutality and terror. Lift it up! Call to action!

Oh FGS! Police 'brutality and terror.' Right. We should look at the life history and past actions of Vonderrick vs. his 'killer' and see how they compare. I saw that the officer was a very well decorated war hero, with a distinguished career in law enforcement, well respected with no complaints filed. VM was wearing an ankle bracelet for a previous illegal weapons charge and we see him in pictures with other gang members, brandishing a gun.

I wonder which of the two terrorized the neighborhood?

I'm not sure if y'all will remember this from Thursday night. As they were marching in the Shaw area, someone in an apartment yelled at the marchers to hold it down because some people had to work the next day and the marchers started to yell back. Anyways, turns out it was a friend of my brothers screwing around. Another friend had just moved in and they know that when "outsiders" move in, they are a bit nervous because they think it's a dangerous place and being white, they are in the minority so as they were marching down the street, the one friend yells out the window and the other friend, scared to death, is diving for cover, calling the other guy telling him "Shut up!!!! You trying to get us killed?!?!?!" Turns out it's an initiation of sorts to show them that it's not as bad as people make it out to be. My cousin did the same exact thing to my brother when he moved in years ago. He told me about that story and I told him, holy cr*p, I saw that happen live and should have known it was y'all messing around. Didn't even cross my mind.

As always, I could be wrong, but I think you need to take another look at the picture and set aside positions for a second. Is that not the protesters, not LE, marching towards him. It's not a photo of bloodthirsty cops bearing down and targeting innocent kids standing around. It's an innocent kid standing in the middle of the road with the protesters coming his way if I'm not wrong. It's a picture by a St. Louis Post Dispatch guy so while anything is possible, I doubt it was staged.

The most prominent thing in the pic is the police car with lights flashing and approaching the kid. Not the protesters advancing. I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm sick and tired of so called "kids" who are legal adults firing weapons and then hearing their families claim "police brutality" when their "kids" get shot after opening fire on someone else.

This carp is a never ending story in the last couple of years.

@nhbaptiste The 9MM S&W in this picture should dismiss a lot of skepticism. #shawshooting #VonderritMyers

Some demonstrators led a chant: “Who do we want? Darrell Wilson. How do we want him? Dead.”

I'll refrain from saying more at this point.

And more from that webpage:

“I’m hopeful that things will get better but after some time we’ll have to start killing police that are killing us. We have to kill in self-defense,” he said. “We have no choice but to open fire on police. You don’t get [justice] by singing, ‘We Shall Overcome.’ You get a gun to free yourself.”

UNBELIEVABLE!

So some peeps are tweeting this pic to various protest twitter sites. And it is either ignored, or complained about. 'was that the same gun the cops planted?' someone posted. :waitasec:

I say, we take up our own donations and buy these people a clue!

watching Bella live....they are having a strategy session for their memorial being set up right now at Baseball village...they are carrying flowers and candles, and are discussing how they plan to carry out this protest...

They are going to walk arms linked up to a field outside the park, and one at a time, place their flowers at the new memorial site. The speaker set it should be ag the bottom of the stairs. ????? I dont think so. That will have to be removed immediately, if so...

Anyhow, the GOAL, according to the speaker, is to make the baseball fans, who are trying to 'ignore the killings, feel uncomfortable...'

They also say they are going to do this silently. I hear a band playing at the rally, so they will liklley be ignored...lol
