D'oh! my bad, I forgot to post a language warning that your ears may fall off! sorry!
Four!!! LOL
To some extent, I can understand the feelings of most of the protesters. I have read and heard about many people who were severely abused by LEOs after being arrested (and sometimes without being arrested). I don't always accept LEs word as gospel because I know for a fact that some are far from honest. The problems I see with this situation are that not all LEOs are dishonest/corrupt, but they do all have to respond to issues like this; I believe they've picked bad cases to protest about; they're breaking laws while protesting, and they're trying very hard to push LE to the point of violence to prove they are violent.
I give them a lot of credit for being as "peaceful" as they have been. It's definitely better than the riots that have taken place in other cases and other places. There do seem to be several who are just looking to cause trouble, but most seem to really believe in what they're doing and saying. I think they do have some legitimate complaints, but they're going about things in the wrong way - unfortunately, I have no idea if there actually is a right way that would resolve the problems. MOO
Talk about double standards on how the law is enforced. I bet some in Ferguson have spent more time in jail for a simple speeding ticket than another guy with millions of dollars who has been "associated" with at least 2 women (might have been 3, can't remember) who have died. They don't want to wander that far south on Lindbergh though. I think if I remember correctly, the last time his house was raided, there was coke and all kinds of automatic and semi-automatic weapons.

Demand #1: body cameras. Demand #2: Civilian review board. Demand #3: independent review of fatalities. Demand #4: End military surplus.
I cannot argue with you there -- one in AZ & one in MO
Yeah, protesters don't want to mess with Frontenac, Huntleigh, Ladue, or Creve Coeur PD -- as if LE is not listening/monitoring protester movements
LOL - PD knew what was up! There's Ladue HS just down the street (but I believe it's a Holiday)
This accomplishes nothing. There are more 14 and 15 year old kids standing outside Chesterfield Mall when I go to pick up my kids.
This is part of the reason there is mistrust of police in the community. If you want to hate someone/the system you can always find a way to change the facts to suit your agenda. We have a system in place to enforce the laws. Not everyone agrees with it but we put those people in charge. If we have issues we need to address them properly and right up the line if necessary. As citizens we ALL need to take responsibility for our actions. No police officer wants to end his day by shooting someone and instinct, plus training will tell them to protect their lives. Someone supplied VM with guns, someone knew he had guns, someone never took the responsibility to take the guns away from him to keep this from happening to him.
Why do we expect a police officer to do the job parents and relatives should be doing to keep these young men from getting themselves killed and not just by police? That is the real issue here. We are all tired of hearing that the lives of young men are being destroyed by guns used to solve minor issues. jmo
Yeah I don't know. I had 1 kid in school and 1 kid out today. I think Ladue is quite a ways away though. Isn't Ladue HS up off of Clayton? Other side of 40 and further east. They did walk right past St. Joe's, the all girls private school though I think.
