Admin Note:

PLEASE do not post random photos. Resist the impulse. KateB or I will post a clear photo of JW as soon as we can. Give us a chance to redact. We have removed photos here because they've included innocents and/or minors.

This will have to hold you over until I get approval on any other one. This is from the JRR approved album.

I wonder what JW has "lived through"..that sort of caught my attention on his FB page. These brothers are such animals...makes me wonder.

He was in some sort of serious accident where he needed a helivac. A pic of that is on his FB page.

He was riding a motorcycle and hit by an auto. IIRC, summer of 2010.

Charlie Walker = Curtis Wright?

At one point the investigator asks him about Charlie Walker, as if ??? Fox tells him it is a "hint". Who knows what Fox really means? Up to interpretation. I tend to believe he meant it as a hint referencing CWW, but my guess is as good as anyone elses.

Forgive me for not citing a specific page#. I've read that doc so many times now when we were proofing it while redacting that I just can't do it again today. When I finally went to bed last night, I could not get some of this out of my head. I didn't fall asleep until after 6:30a this morning. I need to take a break from the gruesome, evil details for a bit.
I'm interpreting the same as you.

Charlie Walker = Curtis Wayne Wright

1. There are not any male first names that start with C with a w in them.
2. So he used the first letter of C/W/W and last letter in Wayne.
3. If he had given the detective a first, middle and last name of this faux person/hint, it might be TMI
4. If had just underlined the C and W, TMI
5. Underlining 3 letters, is a "hint" of 3 names. Three names BECAUSE CWW went by his middle name.
6. It's hard to find a "first" and "last" name with C.W.W. in them
7. I do believe there's a method to his deranged madness.
8. Maybe I'm as crazy as HE is for trying to figure this out

My thoughts of JLW: Thinks of himself as a gift to women, associates himself with a Native American culture, especially the spiritual attributes of the wolf, too many times...he tries too hard, he's a legend in his own mind. (I stole phrase that from a licence plate frame, it was very funny then, now it's just accurate). He reminds me of my high school friend's older brother. A troubled guy, drugs. The TV show Kung Fu came out and from then on, he was everything about the philosophy and spirituality of Kung Fu and he couldn't hold a conversation without bringing up his martial arts experience, calmness, skills, blah blah blah. Yeah, he'd bought a gi and various color belts (lol) but never attended any class or lesson. He thought he could baffle people with bs and impress them with his nonsense poses. Naive younger girls fell for it, and he ate it up. I ran into him when we were in our 30's and he still referenced martial arts, his calm lifestyle, his ability to defuse situations (alaTom Cruise). No. He was none of those things. Nothing but a sad and unsuccessful con man who was still trying too hard and getting nowhere.

JLW is crude, but not masculine or manly, and he doesn't know the difference. People who consistently reference loyalty have something very big to lose. He posts that loyalty is earned - not so in his world - he expects loyalty or he threatens. Someone who has to repeatedly tell others how loyal, sexy, brave, smart, whatever he is - isn't any of those things.

I suppose it's a culture thing. In all my years of living, not one conversation with any friends or acquaintances ever touched on loyalty or threats.

He alternates boasting with whining about sex, love and missing someone show how self-involved and clueless about how others and how others might perceive him. If you're a suspect in a 1st Degree Murder case, you don't get to whine about missing anyone.

His victim's family miss their murdered loved one.

Sorry for venting, it may be a reaction to my disgust after reading the PR and then his comments and photos. :puke:
He's been out living his pathetic life and whining and moaning about it. This after taking the life of another human being.

Did anyone else notice he was "widowed"

I wonder if he is aware of the concept of Karma?

Where I live, they call it the coconut telegraph. People know info within seconds. Can't believe that with all of the interviews that there wasn't talk.

Really, does a killer - meth head have a nice personality?

Typing from small screen, so this may not make sense. Read the 62 page report a few days ago and just once so correct me if I am wrong but somewhere in there is the fact that Fox was at a halfway house in St Louis. I think he did meet CWw and Bolin (maybe searching for meth/drugs). I think he was told about the RB murder and then tried to use it/play games with law enforcement. I think the CEW clue is exactly as another poster outlined, three names with a C and an e and a W = Curtis Wayne Wright. A former addict once told me that addicts can find the suppliers and other addicts in any city. CWW met Fox, we just have to sleuth more to find out how/where.

Agree. I grew up in a town just a bit bigger than Hillsboro. It is inconceivable to me that he did not know of Bolin's disappearance and CWW’s possible involvement. From the doc, we know that LE interviewed a lot of people, including friends, ex's, and relatives. In a small town, this would have been talked up like crazy. And MS not only was buddies with CWW, his old fiance married Ronnie Bolin's brother. I don't think there's a snowball's chance MS didn't know, at a minimum, about the disappearance and allegations against CWW.

But don't we also know from the doc that CWW didn't become a suspect until many years after RB disappeared??
It is highly possible MS did not know about CWW's alleged involvement JMO

According to this doc, when do you all believe CWW first became a suspect in the disappearance of RB?

I think they were on to him pretty early on (just like with TS), they were very eager to talk to him.

According to page 5 of the doc, as of July 12, 1996, two days after Ronnie's disappearance, detectives were already looking at CWW.

CWW was the last person to see RB, and per p.2 RB had borrowed money from CWW., pp 5 & 6 say LE tried to talk to CWW about RB on 7/12/96, likewise pp 9 & 10 are all about CWW. This would indicate that he was a suspect from the very beginning.

But they spent years in talks with this Fox character. To the point he was charged at some point wasn't he? CWW's name doesn't really even appear in the doc until much later. Yes, he was reported to be last person seen with him. But after that, nada, until 2010 I believe maybe even 2014

I have a question for beach.
If MS's name appeared in this doc, would it be redacted?

Thanks for all your hard work on this case!

Within two days of Ronnie's disappearance, on July 12, 1996, at minimum, per page 5 of the doc.

CWW is first mentioned on p 2, which is the master report written within a couple days of the disappearance. P3 starts the supplemental reports. CWW is mentioned all through the early days of the investigation.

The charge against Fox reflects his confession as well as LE wanting to clear a cold case. The charges were dropped, I think pretty quickly when they couldn't find any corroborating evidence.

ETA per p53, fox confessed April of 2001, he was charged in May 2001, he recanted in June 2001, and the charges were dismissed. They kept talking to him, but the charges were in and out very fast.

Do all these guys drive motorcycles? Hmmmm....

The "E" could be a W turned sideways. I know my father always wrote his Es like this just smaller if it was lower case.

Yes, that's what I said. His name was mentioned very early on, but then nothing for 15?? Yrs. I think it is safe to consider the possibility MS did not think his friend was involved in this disappearance. Of course it is also a possibility he knew, and it is a long held secret that was the spark for their decades long bond. JMO
