If this were California, you might have to wait 5-7 years.
It's a total disgrace. It's a wonder anyone ever gets convicted for these horrific crimes.

The death penalty situation is also a disgrace. There are at least 700 people awaiting execution in California, some were sentenced back in the early 1980's. Forty years of appeals, and no closer to an execution date then when they arrived at San Quentin. Unbelievable! Much higher chance of dying of old age in prison.
